I bought a 2016 XLT with 19,200 miles on it in 2019 for $17k. Was in excellent like new condition. I got it luckily just before the price of used vehicles began to skyrocket. 3 years later, It's now worth $21k. Go figure. I love it! I carry 1,000 lbs all day long and still get almost 24 miles per gallon.

I bought a 2016 connect xlt with 70k mikes, perfect shape really , for $17,500 after taxes in 2024. I felt lucky to find it in all reality. These are becoming rare in my area (Washington State)…

This was very helpful, looking to replace some vans at work.

The rear door open to the side with a push of the yellow button, unless its only on the XLT.

I would love to own a Transit Connect. I am a delivery driver on a fixed income, so it’s hard for me to save up and I can’t afford payments. Owning one would allow me to obtain contracts with different delivery companies. Maybe one day!!

I wish the shifter was not on the center console. So it could be a little walkway to the back. Would be cool if it had the option of a medium or high roof in this model.

I have to agree. I prefer a column shifter on trucks and vans of any size.

Big car companies introducing small pick up trucks but discontinued small cargo vans …I would like a new one with windows in back doors.

Trying to find out on the shifter there is a bottom on the side. What is that for?

No doubt. My wife had talked for years about wanting the passenger model. Got one just 2 days ago, a 2022 new, SL LWB. I never paid much attention to them. But boy, I really like it’s ride and possibilities with just a few accessories. I believe she chose good.. I still have my F-150, but the van will really round out our transportation. And we paid less than MSRP.

Does a 4x8 sheet of anything fit in the back ?

Wish it had a column shifter so I could have more room up front

I* wish we had that 2L here in the UK, gutless gas or diesel with 120bhp but we do have the fogs, alloys (useless in urban environments) cruise and power everything inc. PTS.

For that price they could add a few more options. Auto lights would be nice, I'm always seeing people driving at night with their lights off. Push button to start the car so you don't lock your keys in the van.

One untruth here. The back doors open to 180 degrees. He needed to press the yellow buttons on the doors to release the 90 degree hold.

I personally need a cargo van like this. But I prefer to call them “unfinished” vans lol. I wish they would at install easy to clean wipe walls you can screw shelves in etc. then you can call it a cargo van. Having walls in this thing is a must for most I think. But you gotta do it yourself. I heard this van is slow sluggish? I want something easy to clean and no carpeting.

The company I work for just got 2 2022 models of these. I’m 6ft 4in and I have plenty of head room. The seats are not very comfortable for me which is kind of an issue cause I’m driving 150-200 miles a day. Also our doesn’t have cruise control which sucks, but it has Bluetooth and a backup camera as well as windows all the way around. I don’t understand why it doesn’t have cruise control, but has Bluetooth and a backup camera but it’s better than nothing.

Nice! Glad the company you work for finally got them! Definitely weird that they wouldn’t include cruise isn’t it? I find it’s a must because most people driving these are driving for long periods of time!

People need to stop mentioning "back-up camera" as an added feature. Since 2018, it is required by law to have one. The connect is barebones but that is ok for what it is meant to be which is a work vehicle.

Hard to find is an understatement. When I checked a couple months ago there was ONE within 200 miles of me, and it was a passenger version which is useless to me.

Yep- rated for 2,000 lbs towing.

I drive one the locks would drive you mad.The side or back doors keep locking.not good if you in and out.Pluss head light very poor.At bottom sliding door poor design a track holding wires in place very fragile and easy to accidently break.

why do they make new cars so weak these days .. I have a 2007 ls 4cyl colorado. 175 horse power payload 1800 lb tow Rate 2500 weight of the truck 3300 lb like in every aspect my old 4banger light truck beats this van new cargo van .. they should make it comparable to the older model or better at least

It has lamp with only 1 source of light in front, no wall between passenger and cargo areas, no daylight LEDs, manual mirrors but still it has automatic gearbox and reverse camera. Very strange version, mix of ultra poor and rich options.
