Rust Paint made with Actual Rust sounds like a dystopian scifi future product.

i love how he just goes "random bullshit, GO!" and makes amazing necromunda terrain
Your rust paint technique is from another dimension.
Someone must have had a serious fender bender. I saw bits of intake, and a fuse box cover, and couple other important car bits.
1:42 They're usually air diverters and cap pieces on the bumpers of most modern cars. It's flimsy junk, but it keeps water/sand/debris from getting into the engine as much.
Dude how is no one else appreciating the Doka Ryan reference?
That rust paint is such a good idea!! I haven't seen anyone else attempt anything like it either. Really cool stuff man

Did he just took rust power and mixed it with water? Bcs i tried and it doesn't really give the same effect... mine is way brownier

I love this idea of collecting litter for a build. Probably takes forever to clean and actually find useful greeblies, but I would give it a go for fun!

I've been doing the same thing for a while now and it all depends on where you live! More trash in cities than in suburbs, more in suburbs than rural areas. As for washing, a high grade detergent/degreaser like Super Clean will get everything clean enough to handle pretty quickly.

@@archivist8523 I recently started using LA Totally Awesome degreaser which has been pure magic for me. I'll look into Super Clean too. Thanks for the tips!

Disagree with the rural areas. Here, people love to litter and can't drive, so plastic is abundant. I've been too focused on getting it just right from the start. I think I'm going to start glueing stuff together and then covering the ugly parts. Maybe find a plan somewhere in the middle. See how that goes.

Wow, that was a genuine actual haiku. You even remembered to have an allusion to nature
Love all of your work. Your voice is so soothing you should have a podcast lol. You got me into Warhammer with your biggest ork build. Just wanted to tell you thanks for getting me into my favorite hobby!
I'm certainly no car guy but I'm pretty sure most if not all of that roadside plastic is the bottom coverings from cars (skid plate/splash guard). It's the first thing to break off when you get a lot of potholes and ice chunks, and can come in some crazy shapes.
Beautiful. You've taken random garbage that no one would have paid any mind and turned it into awesome stuff. Honestly this channel and Bill Making Stuff have warped my brain into seeing various mundane packaging and bits into cool potential Sci-fi stuff. I thank ya.
The DokaRyan reference was totally unexpected but totally welcome
Finally a DIY building mad eof REAL trash ! Thank you for that, I hate when builders do it buying NEW stuff for that on purpose. Good job !
I love that new and original term Crustard, it's so inventive. Sandy Crustard should be called SB's Double Thicc Crustard
I literally cracked up a couple of times during this video. Your humour is spot on. Never stop being you!
I recognize those sound effects, a mild chill went down my spine when i thought i heard a spawn move.
Babe, wake up! A new Scratch Bashing video just dropped!
Bill making stuff invented the term "crustard" he's the only guy I've heard say it. Also his is really cool.
YOOOOO that DokaRyan reference was on point

Just a note: baking soda can migrate out of the paint and leave white crusty patches on the surface of the project. This sometimes gets really bad when multiple washes are used.

This has a 'bush mechanics' vibe over it, only with terrain. xD
The hanging wall greeble thing is actually, ...for hanging things on walls! It is a drywall screw anchor.
*Now I’m curious what no.6 would be! Also DAMN I was not expecting that reference to another channel or the actual rust paint.*
Absolutely amazing. Looks like you took wreckage of some sort of car that crashed into a snow bank. Wouldn't know I'm in Vancouver.😂😂..It hardly snows here, but anyways, absolutely great job on upcycling man! It looks amazing! 😍 Bravo 👏
Recycling!
@Bluecho4
Жыл бұрын
Genuinely more effective than "actual" recycling. Instead of -rotting- _failing to rot_ in the same landfill as the common trash, or going to join the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (now so large and permanent, it has its own ecosystem), you can make productive use of your plastic waste.
LOVE this method for collecting some good and properly random stuff! I don't get a lot of weird waste hard plastic in my household, so this looks like a good way to *quickly* pick up good shapes to sterilize clean and use! I have a scifi diorama I'd been building and you always give the best ideas for greebles and panels, and how to use things. Luckily for me, I DO have old hair elastics for my own long hair, and when they stop being stretchy this is a good use.
Incredible.
Damn man, I'll have to have another go at building some terrain, last time I tried my hand at it it just looked like I'd broken into a kids nursery and stole their toys.

The advantage to building with garbage is even if you screw up, it's not gonna be "garbage-er".
a racoon, so fitting somehow ^^ that rust effect btw, this is witchcraft!

BRB making my own rust wash.
That spring idea look so cool!!! Love you're videos man keep them coming!
Killing it dude, i wish you the most success.
Excellent use of the sidewalk trash everyone usually ignores, you're thrifty and creative! And, it's all free! No need to shell out $86 for a little plastic wall from GW, hot glue and some junk gets you what you need!
You found some fabulous junk! OMG your rust based rust effect is so effective!
Car stuff looks like pieces that go around wheels or under the chassis or in and around the bumpers. Usually to like cover over a hole
Loved this idea.
2:28 is definitely a drywall mount, i just got a few of those to mount hooks to the ceiling! Awesome stuff as always!

That rust (paint) is insane(ly cooooooool).
looks like people have been losing parts of skid plates. Plastic that protects the bottom junk of your car. Could be wrong, but those plastics usually fall off in chunks over time due to the damage they shield the engine, oil tank, etc. from.
Really relaxing...love upcycling junk into art
2:27 That's a wall plug (toggle anchor) for thin hollow walls made of plasterboard or wood. But you know that. :) Super build! Thanks.
i am allways suprise what people can build!
