Necromunda project / Kill Team Board: Terrain tutorial: Episode 11.
In this video i am continuing my necromunda series. We are going to be making a full size game board for our Underhive or Kill team.

    Literally just brought home some of those black fold-able boxes from work today for a very similar project. I've been staring at them for a week thinking...man that is just premade terrain just sitting there.

    Just blown away! I recently looked into pastel scraping but was under the impression that varnishing the project after would make the pastels globby

    I especially like the pieces of grating or corrugated steel lying around in the ground. Great detail that really sells it.

    Thank you very much 😉. Yeah it's big, and I tried to keep it accessible to play in. I was very happy when I found that conveyor belt haha. Cost little to nothing. Sometimes you find these cool things and you look at it and go hmm I think I can make something cool with this 😁. Thanks for watching man 👍

    Thank you very much man 😁. Glad you liked the video. I often start out with an idea I n my head and see where that takes me hehe. I will use it in upcoming battle reports as well. I am going to be working on another piece tomorrow for a challenge/collaboration craft with Lee from Tabletop Skirmish Games . Once it is done I'll see that maybe I can do a showcase on my D&D/AoS/Fantasy terrain. In the battle report of Gang Wars (probably episode 4 or 5) I will use this board in combination with my other pieces I have made 😉. Thanks for watching brother 😉👍

    @@alrethianscraftsbattles all good. I'm a bit of a slow crafter. Started making necromunda tiles I your style. Only thing I did different is I used 1in insulation foam instead of foam core. Slow going, started 3 then ran out of foam. But so far so good.

    @@alrethianscraftsbattles I created a corpse grinder contraption myself. Sadly it is needed to be smaller, modular, and not connected to a bigger table, becouse I need to carry my terrain for plays. I love when someone is able to host game, and have the means to create this huge terrain peaces.

    @@bencemuller4415 That's cool 😉👍. Yeah I understand that if you have to transport terrain that it is not easy drag around big terrain boards and it is way easier to make modular pieces. Also modular can be used in several set ups for variety. It has much more benefits. What I like about bigger boards is the attention to details you can do. So I like to switch it up, sometimes I make big boards, and sometimes modular haha. Thanks for watching 😉👍

    Hot glue also works well for gluing into insulation foam like that. It does melt it a little, but that won't matter on interior surfaces, and provides a super strong and fast bond.

    That is indeed true. I just went with this glue because I did not want to risk it. I did use hot glue fir a lot of other things 😁. Thanks for watching 😉.
