A skirmish game that's all about campaign sounds like something I'd love. I 've never really looked into Necromunda but sounds great.

Hey Glass, you could check out Miniature Game Montage on youtube for some really great Necromunda battle reports/vidoes.

This was good. Necromunda sounds fun but idk if It’ll be worth it for me, learning a new system. I’m a little jealous they get vehicles and mounts. That sounds like loads of fun. (Imagine if guard/vet guard could bring a sentinel? Or bikes for Orks or SM? Could be good)

A lot of the rules were replicated in the previous version of Kill Team, so if you are used to that Necromunda would be pretty easy to pick up... its just a more detailed game where you really focus on what load outs your gangers have.

I find your lack of hellos disturbing... :)

Boy, this really feels more like a commercial for Ash Wastes than an actual discussion about whether it's good for new players.

Fair enough. I haven't watched this for ages so I don't know what actually got said, but I believe the general concept was that I was pretty excited to get into necromunda regardless of ash wastes and then this turned up on my door and I realised I had absolutely no idea how to play so I brought James on to explain it to me. James is someone that has been playing necromunda for a long time and really enjoys it. Typically, when explaining a new game to someone, you're going to focus on the positive aspects. I think the general vibe was that if you don't care about vehicles you don't need ash wastes. If you want vehicles then this has those rules 🤷‍♂️

Completely disagree… I’m trying to figure what to get as a complete noob and this was exactly what I needed to learn a bit more about why I might want to buy Ash Wastes or not

Great video! We have always kept an eye on Necromunda, with this new expansion we are considering whether to try it, because it looks really interesting!

I thought it looked O.K until I saw the price. I love the lore of Warhammer and 40k and I still play the original Necromunda I bought in the 90's but the combination of farcical pricing and litigious behaviour has put me off GW.

Good video, thanks for posting. Can you do a follow up comparing Necromunda to Kill Team? Sounds like Necromunda is more rules heavy? Also: next video needs a quadruple hello to escape hello deficit.

Necromunda may have a lot of rules but actually most are optional and is a lot easier to play necromunda compared to killteam. Killteam first is much more competitive and requires to know all the rules and what your opponent can do. You can play necromunda with just the rulebook, learn or read only weapons trait, skills and equipments your gang have and start playing and having fun.

For me Necromunda is the "under the city" setting. Not very intrested in outdorrs Necromunda. Might be fun though, especially as part of a campaign with a few scenarios in the open with vehicles.

I am tired of the steady stream of rulebooks for 40k. Necromunda as a game is a hard pass for me. The models look awesome if I can adapt them to 40k.

180 € is really nothing for new players.
