Thanks so much and big thanks for supporting the channel!
Awesome Material. I definitely appreciate the self taught aspect of the translations to the manuscript. I think Brian is very inspiring in that sense, ones can get out there and teach themselves a little Latin, and take a stab at translating some of these texts. I gotta give you some credit Justin, because Brian was not necessarily the most forthcoming with his replies and responses to your comments and questions, but you rolled with it and filled in the gaps yourself. It felt like you were pulling teeth at times trying to get a response. I think maybe Brian was a little nervous. Anyway, awesome material from Brian, material of which I will be attaining a copy, and another good video from ESOTERICA. Good stuff all around!
The more I watch these videos, the more convinced I am that I should've been a Master Conjurer and Necromancer scholar, instead of a Special Ed teacher. If only I was born in the part of the world these men were so lucky to have the opportunity, exposure and being near academia that teaches and hires people of this field. Here in South Florida (I'm talking about Miami-Dade county specifically here), we don't have anything like this... not even close. We don't have libraries and museums that encourages this level of intellectual discussion and intuitive exploration of the arcane. Definitely not in Hialeah, we have nothing like this at all!!! To find someone who I can even have a decent thoughtful conversation about this stuff is IMPOSSIBLE! They are lost in ignorance and arrogance of their own agenda and there is almost an attack on intellectualism which is rather disturbing. Oh well, I have this channel to go to and listen to learn more. Thank you!
Ever going to go through your library on camera? I think it'd be neat!
This is excellent! Thank you for the interview!
This is so inspiring!! Thank you both for sharing 🙏❤
Oh heck I have some free time, I'm going to teach myself Latin.... said me never 🤣. You guys are amazing!
Excellent Brian!! Thank you both.
Ordered the book. Great video both of you!
I am eagerly awaiting a copy of this book.
Necromancers meeting up and networking and conferring in secret would make a FASCINATING movie.
He should check out many p halls occult library still exists.one one the biggest on esoteric teachings and philosophys.not sure if you can rent them but I do think you can go there and read them.sure some of his real old rare book.are more protected.i would love to go some day myself atlest to see everything.
Interesting symbolic imagery of the three doors in the background.
Since the economic system seems to be reverting to serfdom, i suppose it makes sense to become familiarized with medieval cognitive structures as well.
If we are made of clay, Geomancy fits the category well.
Closed captions have you talking about pikachu, lol. Also, LMFAO @ Clerical Underground Necromantic Tradition...
The practitioner may have done the astrology portion in another log. If you are doing a lot of magic you would have a list of hours along with associated demons. It would likely go by the moon not the sun. Day demons and night demons would be summoned at different times or seasons.
No corpse paint? Are you suggesting that Gideon the Ninth might be historically inaccurate? What about the bone corsets? The space ships?
Don't you think they found each other a lot like we did before the internet? We tend to hang out in places with access, so they were likely found in the libraries or bookstores. We tend to wear jewelry that is noticeable to others "in the know," like amber, or hidden symbols. And, like drug dealers, they probably tended to have a look or feel about them.
I was wanting to o open a occultism book shop year's ago was going to call it esoterica lol.🤪

I don't think there's any legal or moral reason you couldn't, as there aren't very many legal or moral ramifications to using a made up word lol

@@The10mmcure I never thought there was any ramifications etc. Why I said it was year's ago. Sort of encapsulated in the sentence. That it was year's ago something did not fall in to place.

@@The10mmcure esoteric or highly specialized subjects or publications. First used in 1929. From the Greek esoterika, neutered plural esoterikos. Made up as all words are yes. But made up as not being officialy recognized no. As for a business. Naming a business esoterica will need to research your local economic authority (can be done when filling for a business license). As long as no other book store or related service uses that word you should be good. Careful on being close as you can get into TM issues and definently will get into branding identification. The former is a legal issue while the latter can negatively impact your business. From a simple Google search There is an audio device manufacturer "esoteric". A bio research company "esoterica" An occult goods "esoterica occult goods" If you where to focus on just books Esoterica Bibliotech would be a good compromise. Or antheneum Esoterica; esoterica antheneum

I can say something dead serious about...Idk a horrible crime or current event and get zero, crickets. Make a wisecrack wrapped in a philosophical overtone on an occult channel and people voluntarily give me answers! That's real "Esoterica".

@@The10mmcure I agree I see what you mean generally when it comes to occultism. At least for me your are ready coming in to seek deeper meanings. I mean after all that's actually what it is. Ether secret or information that's not in the for front of thing's. You have religion that can give one dogmatic belief. And then theres the occult. S ok me could argue it has its ou wn dogmas at times buy guess that's up to the particular person perception of thing's. Anyways take care freind.😁
Poor Brian.. these questions are hard as hell lol
I am more interested about understanding why people were attracted to doing this from a historical perspective. Also, has there ever been any double blind or scientific study on these practices? If this technology does have some scientific basis, why is it kept in the realm of the surpersticious? Just curious. 🤔

ACDC fan...😄😉 Oh the medichi family🤔
I get so disappointed everytime I realize we are not talking the dead anytime necromancy in any other context is brought up. anyway great episode still interested to me anyway.
Well this gives me a goal. Learn Latin or Greek well enough and translate some spellbooks. 😂

I was wondering if I was the only one thinking this. I seen a review of one of the Scooby-Doo Movies where Scrappy was the master mind behind the soul stealing plot. But what if Shaggy was just playing ignorant and scared while he was the one to train Scrappy to perform Black Magic.
Huh I guess Jesus was a necromancer

I think Justin thinks a bit of plagiarism or some such chicanery went down behind the scenes. Re-watch with this in mind and see if he don't seem a bit suspicious of this guy.

I got the impression Mr. Johnson did not particularly want to talk about how he got interested in occult subjects; despite repeated cross-examination, we really never got much on that front. A rather difficult interviewee, fortunately Dr. Sledge was allowed to lead the witness...

I think he was forthcoming - just seems like he, like me, just developed an itch since we were kids.
