It is hard! I'm just glad I finally figured out how the last level even works! It always confused the heck out of me as a kid!
bro. THIS is hardcore gaming. the input for moving the wisp seems cool. edit: it's almost like the wisp is the glaive weapon from the movie Krull. very ambitious game, indeed.

It’s definitely unique, in my opinion! I don’t quite understand the point of the trees on the 2nd stage, though.
My favorite game on my C64 and Atari 800...

It’s pretty darn cool, imo.
I had this bad in the day but it was on a floppy. Only able to beat it once because it gets crazy.
Do you know the source of the wizard sprite in the thumbnail?

I make all the sprites in my intros... I use a 3D model and a bit of digital art trickery (anime filter + pixel art filter) to get the effect I'm aiming for.
