The slime balls are a snack on his planet. Filled with either slug or wild cherry. There was an episode where he found them while assessing the damage on his spaceship, and they attracted a giant Melmacian cockroach.

As someone who grew up with the show, I'm truly just amazed and nostalgic with the love that this figure had, neca killed it for me, been busy to catch up on figure news but more than thankful for you bringing this unparalleled universe, much love 👍

I love ALF, I used to watch it with my grandma when I was little and it's nice to see other people like it too

Love Alf. Can't wait to get this in hand. The behind the scenes stories on this show are nuts though. The dad absolutely hated being on the show. Apparently, one day, in a coke fueled rage, he attacked the puppet and tore it to bits.

Great review, cant wait to get mine, The picture on the frame is from Rhonda Alf's Girlfriend, the "slime balls" I cant remember what they are called but if I remember correctly they are Alf's favorite snack from his home planet (i think they only show up in the cartoon), also the shirt is his look in the cartoon, and as others pointed it out Fusco on the soda can is a nod to Alf's pupeteer and voice

I just imported the German DVDs for this show to re watch it uncut and this figure definitely might be one I grab I love Alf

The "FUSCO" name on "The PEPSI knock off" CAN accessory can be found as the first name shown when the credits roll at the end of any episode of the old 80's ALF TV show. Paul Fusco is an American puppeteer, actor, television producer, writer and director. He is best known as the puppeteer and voice of the title character on the sitcom ALF, for which he also served as creator, writer, producer, and director. He formed the production company Alien Productions with Tom Patchett and Bernie Brillstein. There visible grooves in this video located UNDER the front of his ears, shaped like the arms of the sunglasses accessory, to put the lenses ON his EYES instead of the tip of his nose, like you've done here, which, I thought was pretty cool too! 😁

I remember him from when I was a kid but I have no physical attachment to the character. With that said, he’s one of my favorite figures and now I’m looking to get a living room set for him and his accessories 😂

I've had this thing on preorder since it was first announced. Can't wait to get it. I used to watch Alf on tv when it first came out in the 80s.

Man could you imagine a NECA Henson line? I big highly detailed 10” Big Bird?!? I’d be all in for that.

Jim Henson’s Creature Shop was involved in the first two TMNT movies, so part of that line already exists. 🙂 Neca also made a Goblin King (Labyrinth) and Chamberlain (The Dark Crystal).

I thought I commented here but I guess not. Great review. It was nice seeing this figure in detail. I just wish I could find him out in the wild. I may just order it from an online retialer. It's crazy that it took so long to get an ALF figure. I know there were old ones based on the cartoon, but I don't think they were articulated... and definitely not as detailed, of course.

I also had issues with the sunglasses. It looks like the left ear has a spot by the hair for them to clip on, but the other side doesn’t. I was able to get mine on a little closer, but not much. Great review! Great figure! NECA did well!

The mouth will actually close all the way. Heat up the lower Jaw joint and break loose. Paint seems to be holding it.

NECA is one of the best action figure companies! Damn this Alf looks like he popped out of the TV, incredible accessories! Great review bro! How about Wiseman getting traded? Don’t know how I feel about that. But got GP back! Hell yeah!

Such a great figure man! NECA might be my favorite domestic company! Maaaaan I’m so hyped about GP2!!!! I feel bad about Wiseman but yeah I’ll take Gary over James any day! I think GP2 is going to bring the fire they need!

Man yeah he looks excellent, I did catch a good amount of the show as a kid and I agree Alf's insults and banter holds up! This falls in to the category many neca figs do unfortunately, like I own a shit load of neca old and new but like things I have passion for like the back to the future franchise, and stuff like Alf and ET, I just have to pass because I cannot get it all ya know. Loved the review dude, just watched the replay of the live, hilarious shit, that shit was off the tracks 🤣🤣 Neca would kill a Chewbacca figure btw!

After seeing this figure, neca would do Great Muppet figures. Crossing my fingers 🤞🤞
