A whole world of these guys, there should be several traits that differentiate by more than just clothing and armor.

The P2 City Hunter is my personal favorite, but I really dig this alternate take. According to the design team, he's an intentional departure - he's supposed to be from a different environment & subspecies. The silver is never explained (or even clearly visible), but pictures of the filming suit make it look like war paint or weird, alien scar tissue. The movie doesn't delve into Predator lore, which works to its benefit. You're as lost as the human characters from 300 years ago about what this thing is. The movie's worth a watch - they keep him mostly hidden in shadows (classic monster movie tension building), and it's probably the 3rd best of the movies. I'd go OG Predator, the Robert Rodriguez one, and Prey in the ranking.

Actually, there's a scene right after he obliterates the fur trappers where he sits on a log and uses a silver cauterizing agent like caulking inside the wound, which results in those silver-colored scars.

Question of today: I don't like this Predator design. It's not bad but it just lacks something which makes original one so unique, maybe it's the lack of fishnet and bonemask. I really like this character design as a past Predator, it has sort of a folklore look with the more stripped away tech and the Shaman style skull mask. Personally I don't love the face, but I appreciate them trying a new look. A lot of the sequels that try emulating the original face just don't quite reach it for me. Predator 2 adding the spiked crests to show it as being a different subspecies is sort of how I look at this one. Granted it's by far the most drastic departure from the base design we've seen so far, but I'm okay with it since we finally got a Predator film where it went back to having a guy in a suit front and centre as the Predator, no super Predator crap.

But then I got a closer look at itーthrough this figure, actually… …Gotta' be honest, I still don't care for his Pred-locks, or a lot of his head/face in general. But one of the kinda' unsung features that I really liked about this guy was its musculature, which I felt made him seem somewhat more… "alien," I guess. Like, as amazing as the original Predator's design was, its build basically looked pretty humanーor at least *humanoid*. And while the same could still definitely be said for the latter description, it no long has human pectoral musculature. So yeah. . . 😁 As odd or small as that may seem, it was enough to flip my entire perspective on Prey's redesign. That being said, I still prefer the *overall look* of the original, but I think it'd be cool if they implemented *some* of this redesign into future standards.

I’m glad you reviewed this, I’m now looking forward to getting the figure more now. I personally love the design, it works well in the context of the movie in that he’s primitive and kind of horrific to look at. Thanks for the review!

I dislike his face, head design, director stated feral is from other part of predator planet...sg looks way way worse than ADI actual props(same thing what happened in the thing prequel) ,silver lines are from healing gel/device-i didnt saw them as silver/y in the movie, but those are his scars from fights/battles

The movie was great, but the portrayal of the Predator is lame. He is supposed to be a Predator, but hunts small animals like a rat, snake, and wolf while fully cloaked. The Wolf Predator traps itself with several Pred-Aliens then takes them all head-on. This Predator is however fighting scared, and thinks of itself as a worthy warrior lol

Loved the movie and the figure is accurate. But yeah, not the best predator desing, at all.

I love the long black hair, I HATE the stupid eye size and placement. Makes him look like a goofy cartoon character, my literal only problem with the film.

Feral should be shorter than the regular predators if anything, not taller.

Yes, this is my favorite Predator figure and even my favorite figure of the year. I loved the movie a lot. The silver streaks on the body are scars he cauterized from battle.

I believe the silver maybe mimicking the invisible cloak. If I remember right it kept flickering in the movie. His spare did come apart in the movie. The gun shot arrows
