This was the best NEC show by far from my recent visits. It’s a shame I didn’t have a lot of money to spend. Still picked up an Action Toys Gobot, Swamp Thing and a Mighty Max (your fault 😁) though. Nice to see some Micronauts this time round also but a bit on the expensive side. That stall with the Power Lords was amazing. He had some proper nice bits on there.

Nice chunky video, Theo! The one thing I saw I couldn't have resisted swooping on was the boxed Micronauts Terrorphant; they aren't rare or massively valuable, but I love that Ken Kelly artwork! I'd certainly also have at least fondled the Britains Space stuff, I've got some loose bits and pieces I got back in the day on a whim, but I didn't know how much of it they made. I think the early 90s were the last days of toys that were just toys rather than the 'collectibles' they started to become after the Toy Boom in the mid 90s. The last Toy toy (that's a description I'll be using to describe a 'proper' toy from now on!) I got was a Mighty Max Dragon Island, just 'cos it looked cool! I gave it away to a nephew, but easy come, easy go... Laters, Theo! 😁👍👍👍
