Great hunt! Regarding that TMNT "Battle Box" Set, it was a promotional mail-away item produced by Takara. They did a bunch of fan-club and mail-away items in the 90's for various lines, including Microman, etc. I have some of the TMNT fan club leaflets, will have to dig them out and see if there are any promos of this set in them.

Good buy, that was! Not my cuppa char, but a good toy's a good toy! If I had the money (fat chance!), I would certainly have bought that 14" boxed Kenner Alien the camera just saw the corner of the box of when you were looking at something else! I had one in the 80s, but it got abused...accidentally, though! For me, this toy collecting thing's a bit like being in AA or NA; I'm Making Amends for past sins...😔😂
