I've studied this to get a full understanding of what the book of Daniel entailed and I'm convinced that the Roman Empire was the fourth power referred to in the book of Daniel. And that secular Rome under Caesars died to rise as religious Rome ruled by Popery.

Rome never crushed and totally destroyed the three previous empires. The prophesy is about the empire that crushed and devoured them, to the point of grinding the scraps into the dust. The Beast in Rev has 7 heads representing 7 kingdoms. 5 had passed away by the 1st century CE. the 6th was in power when John was receiving the vision. That was Rome. The 7th would come *after* Rome. The 7th is the one that is revived to be the 8th. That is the Ottoman Empire/Islamic Caliphate which is reviving *now*. The spirit of antichrist is to deny the deity or sonship of Jesus. The RCC never did that. Islam considers that denial to be fundamental in their faith. The RCC has no army capable of invading Israel and making war with other Middle East nations. Rome never used beheadings as a form of forced conversions. The Beast will. Islam does.

If you think Richardson is the best Bible prophecy teacher, then you’re lost because what he said is WRONG. He’s a false prophet. Turkey was never a world power nor did the Ottoman Empire come out from the Roman Empire. The seventh world power is the Anglo American [England and America] and when it falls it will give rise to the eighth king. This king will be the United Nations who is represented by the whole image. The process is getting ready to start. Hopefully by early 2022 it will be one especially after WWIII begins.This feel sorry for you people who keep listening to these morons on KZread when all you need to do is read your Bible and think a little.

@@larrybedouin2921 The fourth beast is the Antichrist. In Rev the Beast has 7 horns. They are explained. They represent 7 kingdoms. 5 had already fallen by the time of John's vision. Number 6 was the one ruling during the first century CE. That is without question, Rome. Now, the 7th follows Rome and is later revived as the final Beast. If the one that *followed* Rome became the revived Beast, that Beast cannot *be* Rome. It is the Ottoman Empire. The only Empire that totally crushed and devoured the previous three empires in Daniel.

I just want to thank you Mr., Al Fadi, for your efforts to reveal Islam, and by extension, Christianity, in and honest and true light. As we see the present day unfold before us, in the Holy Land and the surrounding region, understanding Biblical prophecy becomes more relevant and clearer. Just as we have had to out grow the traditions and lies of Christianity to discover the real truth, so it must be in Islam as well. Purging errors in traditions, rituals, rites, and religious dogmas, opens the door to what is real and relevant with the Creator, and not just 'what we wanted.'

James... you don't have to outgrow anything to know the truth. Jesus has always been the Way, the Truth and the Life. He reveals himself to all that come to Him in faith. Don't worry about the mix. Jesus said in Matthew 13v24... to leave the tares and wheat together and He will harvest the good wheat later.

If we look at the story of Nabonidus' son, Belshazzar of "the writing is on the wall", in Daniel chapter 5, we can see another link. Nabonidus was promoting a cult of the god Sin, the moon God, in Arabia which had a festival at the end of 30 days, called Al Fitr. This is one that was inherited by Islam.

It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. 35Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. Joel Richardson is way off!! The Roman Empire conquered all four divisions of the Greek Empire. The most eastern division was the Seleucid Empire and they moved their capital from Babylon to Antioch for most of that empires history. Antioch also remained part of the Roman Empire for hundreds of years after that. The 7th head was pagan Roman whose mortal wound was head revived as papal Rome, the 8th head. The Ottoman Turks are considered part of they clay that invaded the Roman Empire. Also, the Roman's captured Babylon and Seleucia-Ctesiphon on at least 4 occasions. Also, Rome is built on seven hills.

I agree with you Hortense. The iron legs of the dream image include both the Roman Empire and the Anglo-American dual world power. Logically, the feet and toes of “iron mixed with moist clay” symbolize the final manifestation of human rule that will exist during “the time of the end.” Some of the governments pictured by the image’s feet and toes of iron mixed with clay are ironlike-authoritarian or tyrannical. Others are claylike. Daniel associated the clay with “the offspring of mankind.” (Daniel 2:43) Despite the fragile nature of clay, of which the offspring of mankind are made, traditional ironlike rulerships have been obliged to listen more and more to the common people, who want their say in the governments ruling over them. (Job 10:9) But there is no sticking together of authoritarian rule and the common people-no more than there could be a uniting of iron with clay.

The first region to use iron was Anatolia. The Hittite Empire. Currently under the control of the Turkish state under Erdogan ( who thinks of himself as a Sultan).

I appreciate Joel`s perspective and agree with much of it. I consider myself a modified futurist. The crushing of the serpent and the stone that crushes the kingdoms began on a spiritual level at the cross. Yes there will be a final political realization as Joel describes. John indicates that Rome was the 6th kingdom of his day. I believe that matches up to the statue`s legs in Daniel. The 7th kingdom that followed Rome was the Islamic kingdom of the 10 toes of the statue. Joel`s map was inaccurate. Rome had a presence in Syria, Israel, Egypt and Turkey. It was there that Rome moved its capital to Constantinople. The Islamic empire that will be revived has replaced the Roman empire and has a clear connection to it as its mixed toes of iron and clay.

Very enlightening.

Well the council of nicea happened in 325A.D. In it the holy festivals and Gods law was changed, just as Daniel says in 7:24. And behold the church that emerged had different festivals and doctrine That is exactly what Daniel says would happen! Was this just a coincidence......I think not!

Some believe that the Catholic Church is the woman riding the beast beacuse the term woman usually refer to doctrine or a church. This woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, is rich and has unclean and hateful teaching and is drunk with the blood of the saints. Let' just say the Catholoc church (leadership) has been and still is responsible for the death of saints across the world. And yes we know Islamic rule is also responsible for the death of the saints.

The leaders of the Catholic church assert that they have the power to make one a saint and this is unbiblical as the scriptures show that all true followers of Christ are Saints and one is not pronounced a saint after death. They teach people to pay money for prayers to send the dead out of hell, teach the worship of a man, the pope, as the authority of God. They killed people when they spoke the truth of God, they persecuted the true saints of God, and killed and promoted the death of the Jews twice according to history. The Catholic church may not be the beast but they are most definately the woman riding the beast. She has many daughters, she, the catholic church, claim they have the power to change the law of God and make the first day the sabbth instead of the 7th day (blasphemy). Islam is wicked and lately the pope seem very friendly with their likes. The Catholic church is not the truth, neither do they teach truth, and the apostles' creed means nothing. I know what the apostles believed it is outlined in scripture and nowhere did one of them say "I believe in the holy universal/catholic church."

I feel the same way with Daniel's vision in chapter 7.

I bailed when the dude said the cross didn't defeat Satan, in fact it was a spit my tea on the keyboard moment. I expected legs of Iron to be Rome, plainly, as this Empire rules the region sequentially after the Babylonian Empire, the Medo-Persian Empire, the Greek Empire, which is followed by Rome, and *then* it is followed by the Arab Empire which arises from Rome's dispute with Persia. It is this last and arguably current empire that is represented by the mixed iron and clay feet, heck the source word for mixed in the text is "arab" and here is Arab Empire that takes the region first ruled by Babylon at the time of Daniel, and arguably as Islam still is that empire, even if modern political boundaries divide the territory into individual Islamic states. Col 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. Col 2:13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, Col 2:14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. Col 2:15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. ESV Or the ISV goes Col 2:15 And when he had disarmed the rulers and the authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross. The image of Satan caged and paraded as a public spectacle doesn't imply an undefeated foe, far from it, but then again as Jesus said "It is finished."

For me the empire of iron mixed with clay is the future transhuman empire that will rally all the world against Christ. Satan has no need of an Islamic military(which is already weaker than Russia and China), let alone the whole current human military. He needs an army that could match up against God's angels since he is outnumbered. Only through the fusion of man(clay) and machine(iron) could Satan had an army worthy of his last war.

(Pael) mixed (participle) b. (Ithpael) mixed (participle) That doesn't mean I disagree with you absolutely, Islam distills down to the anti-christian, so anti-christ statements found in the Dome of the Rock, it is about the denial of the Father and Son. 1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. I do follow the logic of clay and iron being a metaphor for flesh and technology, and in that respect Islam is a melding of military might and religious belief. In the end Satan is already and always defeated, there is no war between an all powerful God and anything, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, always trumps anything man can do, create and or worship as an idol, even the god of this world is nothing more than an idol, and there is no god beside God.

@@CharlesCherub But lets not forget that Satan's real ace in the hole is the Mark of the Beast which can nullify a man's salvation, that is his real weapon, a weapon to take as many souls with him in eternal damnation. I believe the Mark of the Beast isn't just for monetary transaction, well at least for the masses. Its true purpose will be to transform a man into a demi-god like state or at least be given a slice of angelic and demonic powers, through this he can have his transhuman supersoldiers.

One can of course lose the inheritance of the Kingdom of God, that is conditional on works, anyone can be a prodigal son, but salvation, is not won by works. I do agree with you regarding the idolisation of man, idolatry is sin, any sin is idolisation of man, or self, it's saying I know better than God, it is the reason we are without excuse cf Romans 1. We are absolutely wrestling with spiritual powers, Principalities - but this is our battle, and there are "wars" in the second heaven, between the Princes of nations, and so on. God is always and absolutely in control.

I agree Joel is wrong. The prophecy describes 4 immediately-successive human empires that oppress Israel. The 4th of these is the Roman empire, built on iron weapons and standing on 2 legs (Rome & Byzantium, which became a Catholic-Orthodox split in Christianity that continues to this day). Identification of these empires does not exclude the existence globally of other empires (Inca, Chinese, Islamic etc.). It is all human empires ever, indeed the very idea of human empire, that the uncut rock smashes.The thrust & spirit of Roman empire continues to this day, with its structure of military discipline, its influence on the vocabulary & grammar of the English language as global lingua franca, its notion of dominium [privatization of land & resources contrary to Lev. 25:23] dominating global economic practice, its jurisprudence & governmental structures exported globally through Europe thence to the Americas & Far East & Australia [especially via UK & Spain]. The Islamic empire did not oppress Israel until 700 years after Christ. However, Islam is the clay mixed with the remnant iron in the 'brittle' modern feet. Many times the Koran describes humans as clay. We are beginning to see the ramifications of this admixture in the segregation & antipathy between traditional & migrant communities across Europe and its outlying 'colonies'. Islam is very mixed up in the final feet that get smashed.

I'm in love with truth and accuracy. The paraphrasing of Daniel 2 was whole inaccurate and not helpful. No one had a bright idea to call Daniel for help the Bible says a death squad was sent to kill him , his friends and all of those considered wise men. He didn't ask for time to 'sleep on it' Daniel and his three friends spent the night in prayer and God gave Daniel the same dream He gave Nebuchadnezzar. There was no how's you family either when Daniel was before the king. There is way too much drama in the story for anyone to need to attempt to make it more interesting by inventing facts. The prophecy of Daniel 2 was not given in isolation, it links to the visions Daniel has in chapter 7-12. By studying these prophecies together one is able to identify the kingdoms due to arise. All of the protestant reformers identified the legs as Rome and the feet and toes as the divided nature Rome would splinter into. Daniel 2 and 7 are companion prophecies where the Head of Gold matches the Winged Lion; the Chest and Arms of Silver matches the Bear with ribs in his mouth, the thighs of brass match the four headed winged leopard; and the legs and feet of iron and clay correspond to the horned beast that gives rise to the little horn - identified as the Papacy. The details of Daniel 2 and 7 have to match with Daniel 11 and 12. Mohammedanism does not feature as part of this prophecy, the focus is firmly on the Papacy. This is a private re-interpretation of prophecy that simply doesn't tick all the boxes. I hear his point about all the empires not being defeated by Rome, but once a kingdom is succeeded it is their ideology, their beliefs and practices, their systems that continues. This is why Babylon is referenced in Revelation 17 as an end time entity even though Babylon passed from the scene thousands of years ago. The religious system and pagan practices have been carried on and incarnated in modern entities - in this case by the Roman Catholic Church. And Rome is doing everything to move the spotlight of true prophecy from exposing her.

The feet are a mixture of clay and iron. The Roman Empire split into into two the Eastern (modern day Turkey it's capital) and Western . The Eastern Empire was ruled by Constantine a pagan professing to be a Christian. The rise of the Caliphate will have it's headquarters from Turkey joined by it's allies. Prince of Magog is Tubal modern day Turkey and not China.

A thousand years from now, Brother, school children will listen to this videos as a part of history lessons.

I gotta ask then, if Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom as Daniel said was the golden head was destroyed but their supposed to be destroyed all at once, as well as Greece, but its in the future, plus Rome thrown out which happened to be the most powerful kingdom as well as the Empire that crucified Christ w/ the Jews. It makes it irrelevant to King Nebuchadnezzar & all other Empires in history. I have trouble w/ these put off in the future prophecies if it ignores historical context, but maybe Im missing something. I've always seen the coming, work, gospel & 70 A.D judgement of the Lord Jesus Christ as so powerful, fulfilling most prophecy

I can understand your comment and how this might give the appearance of a contradiction.., prophecy as you know is not easy at times… however, one way that can resolve this is that some prophecies can be partially fulfilled in the past yet fully fulfilled in the future… This can help resolve any apparent contradiction or difficulties. You're right Babylone Medo Persia Greece Pagan Rome Papal Rome Daniel 2 7 and 8 are complementary. Daniel 11 and 12 are somehow related too to the reste of the book of Daniel.

If the interpretation of Daniel two's man composed of four metals does not harmonise with the four beats of Daniel 7, the two beasts of Revelation 13, as well as the beat of Revelation 17 and the woman who rides it, that interpretation is likely to be inaccurate. If this harmonization is arrived at, these prophecies are revealed to be about the working together of two worldly, satan-inspired kingdoms: the first, the system of a civil (i.e., a nation-based) kingdom and the second, an ecclesiastic (i.e., a church-based/religious) kingdom claiming to be of God, riding the first, civil kingdom.

It's convoluted and meant to confuse. Consider that the head, the torso, and the body, were all single kindgoms (the torso which represents the Medes and Persians contains two arms attached) , while you have a natural split at the legs. Some think that this means a kingdom that returns twice (ie was in power early on falls from power and returns). It could also mean that 2 kingdoms arise and hold power during the same time period. Consider the length of one's own legs compared to the rest of their body (about half of the total), it might indicate that the kingdom(s) that represent the legs might be around for the approximate combined length of the previous kingdoms. Also as the feet have 10 toes, these kingdoms may no longer be the in form of one cohesive recognized kingdom(s), but are split. The Roman Empire and the Islamic Empire have been around for a long time, and the nations that made up those empires are still around today. The woman that rides the beast is said to be a city which lies on 7 hills, search for cities that lie on 7 hills and you will find more than a few. How many of these were known in the time of Daniel though? Was he talking about a literal city, an ideology born from that city or both? Or is it about the various leadership figures in these various capitol cities? (ie not just one city on 7 hills but all of them figuratively?)

An amazing presentation, one of the best. It’s not clear to me, if the legs don’t represent the Roman Empire, what do they represent then. Could it be a union of European power and the Arab nations, such as Chrislam.

In my fifty years of studying Gods Word……I’ve heard a plethora of definitions of Daniel 2………..everybody’s got a handle on the end times it seems

Dan 2:44 in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom. Rev. 17 : 12-14 these shall make war with the lamb and the Lamb shall overcome them. the scriptures are sure and true

The roman empire is taken over by ottoman, he changed the name Constantinople to Istanbul, until 1918 end of ww1. which part of the statue is that ???

Vs 42 the feet part iron and part clay means the iro continues but is mixed with clay even unto the 10 toes. A stone is cut out without hands from the mountain and strucks the image on the feet vs 44, 45. no world controlling power arises after the iron, it mixes with the clay until Jesus returns and all is destroyed. 10 kingdoms arise out of roman territory 7 exists today in whatever form and 3 were uprooted by the roots Dan 7 : 8. Rome exists today in the form of the holy see. Emperor Justinian ( rome ) handed over seat, power and great authority to the bishop of rome which is currently the holy see, rome continues. we are currently in the toes the time of these kings. If I'm not mistaken, while the Romans never came even close crushing the Persians, let alone threaten them, Alexander the Great, on the other hand, destroyed Persepolis, he was the real scourge of Persia for a while.

King Nebuchadnezzar's dream is about the world powers through out history, the feet of the statue in the dream is of iron and clay this represent the two last powers Anglo American power that will be the last and will be destroyed along with the wicked world by God Almighty.

How can the Roman Empire not be mentioned in this vision? It was the biggest and longest...to be left out makes no sense.Definitely a good view.. though.

Out of the Roman Empire came the countries that make up what is now Europe. Through its history, we see several attempts to unite it. Charlemagne, Napoleon, Hitler, and even at one point all the royal houses were related to each other, still as the prophecies say, they didn’t not united. Which present religious power came out of pagan Rome that has taken authority to pardon sins, implement a human priesthood with powers to forgive, that have added intercessors beside Jesus, who think has the authority to change the Law and assume a position of being infallible? This power persecuted, and killed God’s faithful children through longer period of time that the Ottomans did. Look at history and you will find that power….growing more influential now a days.
