it is rare to see a middle at 6'0 feet tall be so dynamic at this level. I mean it is the land of the giants! Caffey was a great addition to the Nebraska roster!

Why would it be rare for someone shorter than most to be dynamic? If u gonna compete in this level and ur short, then u gotta have to be fast, explosive, bouncy, etc… i dont think ive ever seen a small middle blocker at this level that is lazy, slow, and barely jumps… ur statement dont make sense

@@gt-lb7qd i think he’s talking about the fact that there is NOT a lot of middle blockers at any less than 6’2. Even at women’s level most middles are 6’3 and taller. Caffey isn’t known for her blocking but it’s always impressive how she can get from pin to pin for her size.

(period). the fact that he added -be this dynamic- changes the meaning to, its not rare to see short middles, its just rare to see short dynamic middles, which doesnt make sense to me. this is ncaa, if ur short and not dynamic, then ur not even getting a jersey, sit with the audience honey

I was surprised to see Pitts libero didn’t serve at all, don’t see that often.

This was an all around great match!

This was like the 2017 semis/championship when coach cook told them to serve tougher so they did 🤣

not sure about that i thought nebraska serve/receive was firm although missed serves at the wrong moments. other than that what really turned it around for wisconsin was their superb blocking. even the block touches which we don’t see in the stats were so vital for wisconsin to transition easily into kills.

Sorry but to hear sunderland say there was a debate on whether Kubik was the “best” 6 rotation player in the country shows his strong bias for Nebraska. She’s good but she’s not even top 10. Eggleston is clearly the best all around player in the country and it’s not really close

@@lukehorak2682in this past season I’d say… Logan Eggleston Dani Drew’s Yossiana Presley Mac May Julia Bergmann Madi Skinner Anna Dabeer Kayla Lund Grace Cleveland Emily Londot Caitie Baird Caroline Bien The list goes on and don’t get me wrong Kubik is good but Nebraska doesn’t have great hitters they just have amazing backcourt defense and great serving that keeps them in matches.

@@jacobjohnson3386 I don't think he's saying that Kubik is the best hitter, as that would definitely be a stretch. However, with her passing, defense, and other backcourt skills included, I do think she's up there. A lot of the players you listed can certainly bang a ball but aren't as relied on for passing as much as Kubik.

@@natchong537 Ik, she’ll of course get better. But to give her 1st team all American ? Morgan Hentz wasn’t even that her first year. And the way I’ve seen them praise her for passing a free ball on target. 🙄 Elena Scott (Louisville freshman libero) seemed better to me. And Barnes deserved that 1st team all American honor and libero of the year. John cook (her own coach) was even shocked she won it….

I agree. Elena Scott from Louisville was also a freshman and looked like a better libero, but she didn't even get an honorable mention nod. Barnes should've been first team as well. Rodriguez is a top libero, but not THE top libero
