She will have pressure regardless of where or what team she plays for because she is Jordy Bahl and she will go down in history as the best pitcher to ever play the game and wear the uniform. She will be greatly missed at OU. We love you Jordy and forget the haters. You are loved at OU. We will miss your lioness self prowling the mound. I will be watching Nebraska (YOU) this season playing from the cheap seats. OU fan

Jordy is going to have a big adjustment this season. She doesn’t have the same type of team around her to help continue the success she had with OU. She can’t carry the Huskers by herself and with the drop off in run production, defense, other pitching support and media pressure, it could be difficult.

You are saying what everyone from OU is afraid to say and what nobody from Nebraska will admit. It seems like she thinks she can just will the Cornhuskers to winning at the same level, and she won’t. When she finishes her college career with the same number of National Championships that she already has, she’s gonna realize she let homesickness get in the way of making college softball history.

I look forward to this season of college softball. Jordy is especially entertaining and a hard worker. I easily understand her family’s value to her,….she so innocently and modestly demonstrates that she is a product of that love and nourishment. From way up North NY …You GO Girl !

I have said for quite awhile that there is plenty of female talent in this state for any sport. I am happy that Jordy has returned with the goal of pushing this team to higher levels and build the sport in those Nebraska girls in elementary through high school.

Basically, a player who lost the 2020 season because of Covid, got an extra year of eligibility, and is now in their "super senior" (usually fifth) year.
