Sooo... It looks like you either visited on a Sunday or maybe Labor Day, not sure. Lincoln is also 50 miles away, not just Omaha. It's called Central Avenue, not Street. Thank you for saying Otoe correctly because a lot of people can't seem to figure it out. The big bank you saw on 1st Corso started out as the post office. The residential area you said is "newer" is definitely not the new side of town but rather the old side, but that's fine. We have tons of trees because Arbor Day did start in Nebraska City! It's called Arbor Lodge Start Historical Park and it's the best place in the world, in my opinion!! We take pride in our community (or at least most of us do). I lived there for 25 years and plan on moving back one day because I miss it so much. Just wanted to fill you in on that info, otherwise a good video!

Thanks for the supplemental information! Research can be a bit tricky to gather so I’m thankful you shared your local perspective. Kind of slapping myself for not making the connection about Arbor Day because I do remember reading about it lol. And you are spot on I recorded on Sunday, the day before labor day :)

Crazy how much Nebraska looks like where I grew up in S.W.Pa starting in the '60's Really gonna look into moving there

Great videos. What’s funny is tho, that you managed to video almost every town surrounding the 2 towns I enjoyed living in the most in Nebraska. Plattsmouth and Murray. They’re both straight north of Nebraska City, off Hwy 75. Plattsmouth has a population around 7k and Murray has less than 500.
