Its not difficult to get 3 subs in a division. Two of the players just have to "dive" in a different way.

They are way to slow to be dive bombers and you only get 5 planes in a squad, as I'm sure you noticed in some of the drops they were barely able to procure a successful drop. they do the same drop mechanic as the Hornets AP bombers and nearly the same amount as the b-25 but more accurate. its not supposed to be historically accurate, its supposed to work well with the game mechanics, if the bombers preformed the same way the Lexington or Midway dropped with 9-12 bombers the AA would disintegrate the 5 planes. the health pool is too small.

So like with Kearsarge, the MM does not tream different from normal BB's. So one side can have a massive spotting advantage over the other.

I had an argument with someone over this who was convinced that planes are not that influential on a battle but this is exactly what can happen. You could have essentially 4 or 5 carriers in one game and the other team may have zero or only one.

@@g00bergob94 Yep. If the MM does not see a hybrid as anything other than a BB, you could theoretically have 6 CV's in the game on each side. Or 5 on one and zero on the other. Combine that with 2 subs. What's a DD gonna do? And most of the damage you're gonna take will be from planes, maybe torps. Not gun fire. And DD's will have nowhere to run. Welcome to World of WarSHIPS 2023.

@@dany1441 Overall a sad state of the game. Don't know how many times I've died in my Montana without taking one hit point of damage from a ship I can see.

I love the Flambass YT videos where there is no audio at the start. It always forces me to do a double take on my phone like "wtf, I broke it". Hah

Thank Neptune WG has finally decided to go back to Historical Realism. After all the complaints from the playerbase about how unrealistic subs are in this game, I'm sure they'll be thanking WG from the bottoms of their hearts for these completely real hybrid BBs that have been the central component of US naval operations since the mid-20th century. Finally, we're back to Real Steel vessels and no longer being inundated with paper fantasies.

It seems like many see a flat top and just don't worry about giving a flat broadside.

I would like to see more of both this map and ocean. Ocean may not be popular, but I've only played on that map a dozen times in two years.

What the heck. Knowing how much Flambass, er, loves, the Omaha, he'd really love that at one time there was a proposal to use Omaha hulls for scout carriers. 33kts, ~30 aircraft, keeps the armor (Ha!) and torpedo tubes, but loses the 6" guns. Just AA. WG should put it in the game. Just think, a CV that's one big citadel. :D

there are a lot of CVs with big citadels. Nakhimov's entire side is a citadel, in fact

I can't wait until this replay goes over to old man Jingles. Because you know he will try to explain the "history" of this ship while simultaneously saying "That's a paddling" every time someone shows broadside to Flambass. Though, that will take away from all the great one liners Flambass had throughout this insane battle at Two Brothers. XD

It is a small Toy, but a fun one for sure. I just played it and didn´t realize i had allrdy 170k xp on it. But u really struggle as soon u are bottom Tier, u lack the Firepower and the planes don´t have that mutch HP. But was fun to see u playing it!

I think I figured it out-WeeGee is just really salty that World of Warplanes failed and have resolved to cram as many planes into WoWS as possible to compensate

The hybrid line is really OP tho flambino Especially the t10 one Look at thier armor scheme they have untouchable citadel even in turning, not to mention better agility than thier counter parts

The tier 10 does have a citadel though. It’s the tiers 8-9 that don’t for some weird reason.

Problem with it's bigger brothers is the plane dmg is broken. As in it barely does any .. 2904 or somesuch is all you get. Same damage, every time.

We all need to thanks wg for adding ships/lines which makes us hate this game even more like its already a nightmare to play with subs, but still its not enough, god i miss the time when playing every random battle was somehow enjoyable and interesting...

ROFLMAO -- WG has lost it. This ships are jokes. That shell time in the air, you could bake a cake waiting for the shells to come down. And then you have limited guns in exchange for occasional planes. I was in seven games tonight and four had Nebraskas in them, two with divisions (two of the ships) .. and in each case then all ended up way down the experience list. People just can't play these jokes well.

These ships look and seem extremely boring....

it'll be so much fun when half the team is sailing these hybrid shitships ... sooo much fun ...

Even a T8 ASW better than Ohio. Farken hell
