@@WoWsBestMoments Honestly, it is better than your previous sound board or music attempts. Some of the clips you could even overwrite the original sound and put in your own funny version of events. Your voice tends to be rather monotone (I have the same kinda voice) so between trying to liven your voice up and make something funny I think you are onto a good thing if you can pull it off!

Narrations may sound a bit cringy but I'd take the advantage of them offering context for people who may not understand the clips otherwise, or to clips that would be lost to time without proper context due to how quickly the game is being updated

Commentary was perfectly fine and yes, KZread has once again payed increased attention to compilation videos without narration/commentary. Seemingly due to some major channels pushing the boundaries of "reaction videos" wherein there is little to no reaction at all. Of course, it's understandable when those "reaction videos" do not have the express consent of the original content creators. However, KZread as always, isn't taking the time to differentiate that content from this content.

Agreed, thank you for the insightful comment! We always thought that no commentary is better for the viewing experience, but I'm starting to realise that the problem was simply that I was not good at narration. I'm excited to get better at it. :) It might a whole new dimension to the videos, as long as I manage to keep it unintrusive.

He did not get rammed. The enemy cruiser died before they collided. Any damage Pasch at was from either secondaries or the fire that was burning on him.

No, but if you earned enough xp in a battle you were awarded "free" tokens so you didn't have to play all your ships to claim all your potential rewards (up to five for 1400 bxp, might also depends of how many ships you have, I'm not sure)

They want to destroy low effort channels. During detailed reviews they acknowledge the transformative nature of the edits, but we still get flagged by AI a ton, which is very disruptive. Best way to avoid it is to use voice. And indeed, voice is sometimes much easier for explaining some of the clips, but we always understood that viewers prefer pure edits. If this narration doesn't disrupt the viewing experience though, I'm excited to keep doing it.

Am not sure how much voice content you need, but perhaps you could introduce segments of 3-4 similar clips that you compile for example, "submarine shot-gunning not a thing in 2023", "AA is highly effective", "wows is fun and engaging", "no potatoes play wows", "your guns hit where you aim". I think the clips (as always) speak for themselves so a level of sarcasm well warranted. I also know with the later type of quote you used to use the steamers themselves to provide those quotes so maybe you just replace parts of that - keep up the good work - I click on these immediately when they hit my feed
