My father in law came in figure and stood in front of my mother in law asking for forgiveness during her fajır Salah. She knew he died, she came out and said your dad died. A couple of hours later we heard he passed at that time. This story still gives me chills. May Allah SWT forgive us, ask for forgiveness before you pass on to everyone you hurt. Before its too late. May Allah SWT Be pleased with you all.

I do wonder how you perceive mufti menk's famous "halal intimacy is a form of worship" concept. If these perceptions from the "spiritual" branches of the world conclude some form of "nakedness" upon transcending this realm to the next, what do we have to disprove that? The entirety of Islam simply cannot cover every aspect of every avenue of life, unreligious otherworldly accounts included. It may be accurate, it may not. It's simply a piece of the "culture" birthed through shared concepts, and our job to explore the validity of such. Would you be so strict as to not allow another to censor undressed women within dawah videos, or do we make small sacrifices during daily interactions so we can better understand and maneuver this world with our faith?

Allah swt is precise in definition of death (39:42) when a person is unconcise (Sleep, NDE, Comma etc) two out comes; 1: Allah swt holds the Nafs never to return to body i.e. permanent death, 2: Allah swt lets the Nafs go back to the body, temporary death. In case of death in 1; a process immediately follows where Angel of death with his entourage, is seen by the dying person, either in a beautiful form (16:32) glad tidings given, OR in a scary form (16:28) when bad news is given, then two angels asks three questions as a test (1.Who is your Lord, 2:What is your religion, 3:Do you recognize this man (Prophet (saw))) then the Nafs is taken to a temporary place (Barzah (23:100)) where all Nafs are kept until judgement day, when Nafs is reunited with a newly created full grown body(81:7). The Barzah is split into two, based on the outcome of the test, one for good Nafs together, that includes family relatives and friends who made it, will get to know each other, and the other place is for those looser Nafs that failed the test...

I thought from the Islamic perspective, the soul doesn’t see their dead loved ones. I thought that once you are dead, you experience the test of the grave and await the day of judgement. I also heard that the angel of death takes your soul in either a good/painful experience based off of what you have done in this life. But truly only allah knows.

It feels like the "Science" today is reduced science. Idk how to explain it, but it's works differently with Science understanding in a Muslim minds. I've heard bit and piece the "Old Science" is actually closer to holistical science, since both paradigm of the seen and the unseen world is fused together. The easiest way to understand is that when the understanding of science is in line with the understanding of Quran. All of these facts in the videos that people encounter and experience have become more truer than ever before since they are in line with the Quran. The true science is observing any sign, but it's kinda being reduced to the point we ignore the "Spiritual" side of things or the unseen to be a "Halucination". For todays layman, They will attribute any encounter that cannot be explained as "Halluicination" or "It's just my brain" or "It's just coincident" etc etc. Basically what they do is, avoiding and copping mechanism for the unknown sign that they encounter in their life. It's kinda similar with when you see a nature video when the narrator explains it as a by-product of "Mother of Nature", "Evolution" to dodge the unknown territory. They dodging the unknown or in this case the Truth or to put it clearly GOD. But, if you see from "Muslim Scientist" or religious ones or the honest people, they always say "This is what we found so far, but Allah is know best". Today education is kinda of misleading at best, it's making us think we already figured all the things out, but in reality it's kinda just guessing at best. xd

I was standing against a high white stone wall in the very last row of people in a place I did not want to leave. I knew it was Heaven, and along with innumerable people far forward ahead of me, we were all attentive to an incredibly bright white Light that I know was God in all His Glory. We were all praising Him and Glorifying Him through our singing. Then, standing next to me was Jesus Who spoke to me clearly even though I was singing His praises. He said I needed to go back but as I continued to sing, I said I never wanted to leave the spot where I was standing. My extremely strong desire was to remain with Father God and His Son Jesus. Suddenly I knew I was in the Spirit since I could sing to my Lord God with all my heart, while praying to Him my personal thoughts, while I could understand what Jesus said to me, while I was able to speak to Jesus while I sang, prayed and thought how unbelievably amazing and reassuring every moment was. I never ever wanted to leave! When I saw my cardiologist, she said I had had a "cardiac event". The Spirit within me said I would know this experience again. And this event has remained strong in my heart just as it was that moment on that day. I don't think even 1 day has ever gone by when I haven't thought about this experience. I have no anxiety or fear about dying on earth since I know I will return to what I experienced almost 20 years ago. In fact, I never refer to "death". Instead, I refer to "stepping into eternity" when I will again see Him Who I love Who is my Father, my Lord, my God, my Savior and my Redeemer. Be blessed by Him-

My interest for Islam has been renewed some years ago because of the same philosophical and scientific questions Brother Paul is addressing in that video! Islamic worldview is clear, rational and satisfy the thirst for knowledge without totally extinguishing it as there is always something new to learn about the infinite creation of God! Excellent video both by the treatment of the topic by the two brothers and the relevance with the eschatological era we are witnessing now!

I started following consciousness (soul) research videos and papers several years ago. Besides that, I also followed NDEs; they're both fascinating. Some of the NDEs were factually verified by Doctors and nurses. Dr. Paul, could most of NDEs be related to Barzakh (purgatory) which is a temporary realm for souls before the actual Day of Judgment? I thought they're a short prelude of what's their fate in Akhirah. Also, could you please take a look at a Wikipedia page called Muhammad, possibly written by evil non-muslim which insults the Prophet (PBUH) and claims he had epilepsy and used to get NDEs? Please do something about that slanderous Wikipedia page. Thanks

I was revived from a clinical death in 1989. Four days later, while still in the hospital, I had the first of many out of body experiences. While I can't watch this video, yet, I scrolled through some comments and came to your comment. I just had to tell you that there no way that I could ever believe in reincarnation, because of the Mercy of Allah. I now look at Death as a purifying experience. The top of my head turned white overnight, I will not intentionally kill even an insect, as I feel a connection to them. Even birds and other animals seem attached. I will not talk about the pain, but I learned something: the separation of the soul from the body is real. When the valve in the heart (Mitral valve) collapses, blood dams up and the "other" part of me, went to the ceiling, looking down, no pain. Many other out of body experiences, before being told that I had Mitral valve prolapse, from cardiopulmonary arrest(NDE) If you can find a book, "Fear of Hell," What Happens after Death and some Hadith, they describe exactly what I experienced. No professional Psychiatrist, therapist could help me, because they said that they had never heard of anything like what I experienced. I can't deny anyone else's experience, but I also can't watch their videos, because my experience was absolutely nothing like their's. Another thing that happened with me, is I can touch someone's pain and it will go away. I didn't share everything, but just wanted to particularly say that I believe that Allah loves us too much to let us go through Death more than once. The only part of me that did not feel separation, was my head, so I do believe that when I leave, that is the part that will the separation.

@@brenda126176 hm, thx for sharing. I think Allah has guided me to veganism too. And i cant hurt any insect too. And i know there is alot more than we can see, but im still skeptical about these experiences. Because seytan and the mind can be involved. Thats why i rather stick to the quran and hadith to make sure im in the right path. The rest will be solved when im dead. Maybe we can get a higher stage of consciousness if we experience these things and learn about them, but i dont think ita neccessary to enter the highest rank of paradise, otherwise it wouldve been mentioned in the quran. But the risk of being missguided through these experiences and topic, is too high to risk. Because like i said, most people who experience these things are disbelievers or christians and they report about straight shirk. So no thx, ill still to solid material evidence and guidance in the Quran. Even if i could miss some experiences and knowledge in this world/life.

For some people, it may be Shaytan confusing and misleading them at their time of death. The Prophet (SWS) in one of his sunnah duas used to seek refuge in Allah against Shaytan confusing him at the time of death, so it does seem to be something that can happen. Shaytan vowed to mislead humankind at every point of their lives until their soul returns to Allah, so while the soul is not fully removed from the body I assume Shaytan can still mislead us. For some people this may be incorrect information given to them during a NDE such as reincarnation or some other idea. Allah chooses who is guided by the experience and who isn't, and what we will encounter at the time of death. I find it believable that if we can receive Allah's guidance through signs in dreams, when our soul is partially removed from the body, then surely we can also receive guidance or signs at the point of death or near-death. But, just as with dreams, sometimes if can be Shaytan's trickery misguiding us. Allahu alam.

Remember these experiences are not actual death experiences. They are spiritual experiences during traumatic physical events. So don’t be surprised that the souls were not questioned by the angels, or taken up through the heavens, or shown their place in heaven or hell. Those are experiences that occur behind the veil of death from which no souls can return and which no soul can delay. May Allah have mercy on you at the time of death and strengthen you with the firmness of faith and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet.

Nancy Rynes (Anthony Chene production) is a very good example of an atheist who was welcomed with love and kindness and was even told ''welcome my child''.

Another issue is: shortly after some permanently die, their voice is heard by those who knew them but were not at the place of death. Some of the facts are very real but strange and rare.

I knew what was happening I knew my body was lying warm in my bed down there, but then I thought so what was I using to ‘see’ the roof of my house below.? Then the cat jumped in the window and I woke up. I had started this dream on my verandah, flapping my arms and trying to get a run up to take off. You idiot (thinks I) just think ‘up’ and up I went.

Dear Christians, Did you know that Jesus prayed five times a day, just like Muslims do today? According to the Bible: 1 - Morning prayer at dawn - Mark 1:35 "And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed". 2 - Noon prayer -Acts 10:9 , "On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour" 3 - Afternoon Prayer -Acts 3:1, "Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour". (at three in the afternoon) 4 - The Sunset Prayer - Math 14 : 23 , "And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone". 5 - Night Prayer - Mark 14:35 , "And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him". You might ask, How was Jesus a Muslim While Islam came 600 years later. The Answer is from the Bible, and Quran as well Numbers 23:19: “God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should change his mind. This means God's faith is one and can't be changed Quran 3 : 19 Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allāh is Islām. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allāh, then indeed, Allāh is swift in [taking] account. 21 : 25 We never sent a messenger before you ˹O Prophet˺ without revealing to him: “There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Me (Allah), so worship Me ˹alone˺.” Dear Christians If you truly love Jesus, consider following his example and embracing Islam, the faith he practiced.

Is it possible for you to focus on non-Christians to join your religion instead of persecuting Christians everywhere? We are not fools like others to deny the words of our God in the New Testament and to believe the words of humans in the Old Testament , and to increase the number of JUDAS , the only muslim in Christianity . Most importantly, as Jesus said to Peter, “You are the rock, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” ........

@@sutil5078 my niece died to cancer. Days before she was receiving messages from her grandma she was saying that grandma is happy and she is okay that we shouldn’t worry about grandma she’s smiling and happy. Also, she was saying how she was seeing beautiful colours everywhere but at this point the doctors said she’s losing her sight so maybe this could explain this. The most profound part was She started referring to herself in third person… days before she would say “I’m okay, I’m going to be okay” etc, then hours/minutes before she past away she started speaking in third person like something else was now speaking through her saying “she will be okay, she’s okay”. Kept repeating it. Also from being in so much pain, when she was minutes away from leaving us she was in so much peace, no more pain or struggle. I’m sorry to say brother, I’ve always followed Islam in its purest form, ie the way of the Salaf, everything text based and must be with evidence. But when it comes to spirituality then I think Salafia has no answers. And this has been really bothering me for a few years now. Why does purest form of Islam not tell us anything about this. How can we blindly follow when we have experienced this time of death. Where is barzaq in all this where we are told is a resting place - if the loved ones are coming at time of death like all the studies are proving. We can’t just ignore all this clear evidences.

Christianity and Islam are two contradictory lines that do not meet. Either you believe that you must say the two Shahadas so that your Allah can discuss the possibility of forgiving your personal sins, or that you kill yourself for His sake in order to forgive all your sins, or you believe that God is a holy trinity and that Jesus was crucified, buried, and rose on the third day, and you are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit so that The TRINITY is able to explore the possibility of forgiving your personal sins. With the first Allah , Hell exists with him in his Janna . As for the second God, the Holy Trinity, he either accepts that you enter the kingdom, or he closes the door of the kingdom in your face forever, so you go to hell that exists on earth (janna of the jinn), which is headed by the ONE Satan , the leader of the devils, who did not give birth and not borned (rather, created) and not in the image of a human with his wings, a lover of the night, the jinn, the moon, the lunar time, and loves torture of human beings whom the Christian God created in his image, and loves Friday, the day of Christ’s crucifixion, so you remain under his control forever, especially since the only Muslim in the Christian religion is Judas Iscariot, who surrendered Jesus . There is no middle ground, and the wise man who saves his soul...........................
