Yes they can and do have a leader and it's Taeyong. The members said it, the director of nct 2020 2.0 said, all the staff who work with them say it so the sooner you accept it the better. He's both the leader if 127 and nct as a whole when they do projects together.

Fun fact: the two of them are considered one of the best dancers in kpop right now. They are in the top 10.😄

NCT U is rotational so its the only sub unit where they switch out members. There's no Mark in this one its just Taeyong and Ten

There are only 2 guys in this video - Ten and Taeyong. The guy with the fiery hair is Taeyong. The guy with the smooth voice is Ten. Sorry, no Mark Lee in this one.

It's been the same two guys the whole song, Taeyong and Ten.

yeah it was just two, this song is only Ten and Taeyong!! NCT-U only puts the members who fit the “concept” of the song in each video, that’s why each NCT-U song has different number of members in it. Also btw, ten and taeyong are both members of SuperM!!

I just can't understand how LC keeps confusing Mark Lee and Taeyong lol. Yeah, both are rappers but their faces are so unique and different. Taeyong is the one with red hair here. Pink hair in Cherry bomb, white hair in The 7th sense and people say he looks like CGI. He has a very versatile voice. Is a sub vocalist, his flow is more melodic and he experiments a lot (whisper rapping here and in Punch, vocal fry in Limitless, growling and a lot of adlibs in SuperM's Tiger Inside) Mark is the cute guy with thin eyebrows that's always spitting bars (he's not in this video) And Ten, the other one here is the "ladies man" from wayv. He has a very noticeable sultry voice and is an amazing dancer.

the video is finally unblocked but yes it was just ten and taeyong in this, they're one of the most iconic duos in the whole of nct. fans are still waiting for a bds 2.0😭 anyways the live performance for this is a very different vibe so maybe you guys should check it out, the most recent one in good quality is at the superm tour (london). its a cute performance bec it shows their dynamic

Previously, you said you had figured out with NCT 127 that if the rapping was fire it was probably Mark or Taeyong. This one is Taeyong. Mark has what sounds to me like a NYC style tone to his voice and speaks English natively since he's from Canada (he did live in NYC for awhile). Taeyong tends to rap with his vocal fry so his voice sounds deeper, and you can hear his Korean accent when he raps English lines.

Yes!!! This song only has two NCT members. Taeyong and Ten. Taeyong - leader of NCT127 (red hair) Ten - the ladies man from WayV (clean cut blue hair) NCT U (hmm think of it as NCT "united", because NCT U can contain any member from 127, Dream, or WayV. It's called a "rotational unit", basically the unit for collaborations from different groups hehe)

There is no Mark Lee here, They are Taeyong (NCT127) and Ten (WayV). They are 2 of the best dancers in NCT. Both of them are in SuperM too. The one who is rapping with the red hair is Taeyong. The one in short grey/black hair is Ten. Again, NCT U is not a fixed unit, it is in rotation system. The members will be vary in each song/project if those members suit/fit for it.

As you saw, "Baby Don't Stop" is a duo performance by two of the best dancers in NCT. And even though there are only 2 members, this is considered an NCT-U song. Any number of members can be involved in a NCT-U song or performance. So this is more of a dance song than a song that is lyric heavy. However, I think this song also does a pretty good job of highlighting what great vocalists Ten and Taeyong are as well. Ten is an amazing singer and Taeyong (the leader of NCT), as I think you know, is considered a rapper of the group, but he is also a great singer. However, as you can see from this video, they are both multi-talented.That is why SM chose them to be a part of this duo. NCT-U is the group that is the United -- or, as I like to think of them, Universal -- group which means that any of the members of NCT can be a part of NCT-U. NCT-U is not a fixed unit so the members change depending on the concept of the song. NCT-U's debut song "The 7th Sense" had 5 members which included Ten and Taeyong. But if you remember "Boss" had 7 members and Ten was not in "Boss." The MV for "Baby Don't Stop" was filmed in the winter in the Ukraine, at the same time as the MV for "Boss." So that is why you might notice that "Boss" and "Baby Don't Stop" have similar looks and vibes. As SM artists, you should come to expect that everyone from SM will have amazing vocals. That is what SM is known for. It's just a fact about the type of people that SM selects to become a part of its company. Trainees are selected for their vocal ability and dance skills first. Even their best rappers, only learned to be great rappers after joining the company. So SM has some of the absolute best vocalists and dancers in the industry. For SM artists, being good at rap is just a bonus. Ten is a lead vocalist and center of NCT, as well as one of the best dancers in the industry. He is Thai and, besides being a member of NCT-U, he is also a member of WayV, NCT's Mandarin Chinese sub-Unit. Ten grew up attending an international school where they spoke English most of the time, so he is pretty much fluent in English. So several of his solo songs, such as "New Heroes" and "Dream in a Dream," are in English. He can almost speak English better than he can Tha. LOL Ten actually is pretty close to fluent in at least 4 languages, which includes Thai, English, Korean, and now Mandarin. So, that is one of the reasons why he is a member of WayV because his grandparents are Chinese and he is good at learning languages. Ten is known as the best dancer in NCT and because of his amazing vocal and language skills he, so far, is the NCT member with the most solo songs and solo projects. And as you also may know, Taeyong is also a member of NCT-127 and, because they are both so talented, that is why they were both made members of SuperM as well. If you like their dancing, you should check out their dance practice video for "Baby Don't Stop." Pretty much every NCT MV has a dance practice video to go along with it. And it's always worth checking out the dance practices. They never fail to impress. Also check out Taeyong and Ten's individual freestyle and solo choreography videos on SM's NCT Dance KZread Channel. You will be even more impressed. :D Fun fact: Because Ten is Thai, they also have a Thai version of "Baby Don't Stop" -- there are live performances of Ten and Taeyong performing the Thai version, as part of their Thai promotions for this song, if you want to hear what it sounds like in Thai. However, NCT is still a fairly young group -- NCT-127 has only done one major concert tour and NCT-Dream has only done a small regional tour, so there aren't a whole lot of Live performances to check out from them, besides comeback stages and TV programs, which are usually kind of risky to react to. But, there are plenty of dance practice videos and special vlog and behind the sense videos from NCT. NCT's entire life is pretty much documented online.

Same two people - Ten and Taeyong - as others have noted. I mean, I know it can be hard to tell them apart with how frequently members change hair color, plus they ALL have similar dancer's builds, but if you are looking at an NCT rapper and it occurs to you "he is prettier than most women I know" - that is Taeyong (though, ugh, there is now Sungchan). If you are looking at a rapper from NCT and you think - he looks and sounds like a buddy of mine from junior high/high school - that is Mark Lee. Also, Taeyong is main or leader dancer and overall leader of NCT, so his dancing is really dynamic and he is frequently in the center of dance formations (end of Cherry Bomb, start of Make a Wish, etc.). Maybe you should watch one of the YT guides on the members? They're 100% corny/cringey, but can help new fans differentiate the members.

You have just started. I've been into kpop for about 10 years now and you can't even imagine. Back there, the genre was not very well known and those who listen to it were seen like a bunch of freakies. I feel so proud that it finally got the recognition it deserves.
