NCL Studio Cabin Tour and Solo Cabins | How Much Does it Cost to Cruise By Yourself on Norwegian?
If you are a solo traveler or just want to get away by yourself, you have probably been disappointed when trying to book any cruises. After all, cruise cabins are not usually priced for one person, and you end up paying heaps of money (basically the same as if you had two people) when you book your room. Now there are many cruise lines that offer you solo cabins with no double occupancy rates (or at least cheaper rates). You should not be penalized for traveling alone!

Nice overview
A solo cabin is a great idea, but the cost of the flight costs almost as much as the cruise. If the embarkation port and debarkation port is different the cost of the flight goes up significantly. I'm 1400 miles from the nearest ocean!!! If I have to embark in Southampton, Amsterdam, or Barcelona...I'm screwed.
