The weakness I see from those 2 is the free throws. Hopefully if it comes to a late game situation they will be able to knock em down.

North Carolina State only lost 6 games all season (so far) one of the losses was to the University of Miami (ACC) who was not even invited to participate in the NCAA Tournament in spite of finishing the season in the very competitive ACC with a record of 19-12. Miami beat three ACC teams of the 8 that made it into the NCAA Tournament. They beat 1) North Carolina State by 14 points (73-59) 2) Duke and 3) North Carolina.

@@free2roam674 Eight teams from the ACC made the NCAA Tournaments, so those were "quality" losses. UM beat three of them. 1) North Carolina State by 14 points (73-59) 2) Duke and 3) North Carolina. They were projected as a #10 seed. They had a high rating playing against the 8 ACC teams that made the tournament (Notre Dame, Syracuse, Florida State, Duke, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Louisville, Virginia Tech. It really caught a lot of people by surprised when they were not selected at all.

@@VILJLI was very disappointed given that they were our Canadian team. They were just too inconsistent this year, given the talent that they have. Hopefully next year.

@@free2roam674 True, I agree and now the head coach, Katie Meier, retired. Meier coached the Hurricanes for 19 seasons and finished as the winningest coach in the history of Miami basketball, with a 362-208 record.

I knew Texas would lose to NC. Everyone wants to praise how dominant their defense is when they beat Gonzaga in a game where Gonzaga missed lots of open shots. Now they will take out SC which is everyone's favorite to win it all.

texas played in a weak Big 12 conference, cheated the game by selling tons of calls and getting points throughout the season, and fooled by their shooting ability. that type of play is limited. they were lucky to make it this far with an easy tourney bracket🤘🏽

@@anthonytaylor7928 like i said, big 12 was a weak conference, especially this year. ut was killing teams by 20 -- 40 points during the season. i'm a ut fan but knew those wins would give them a false sense of their abilities and would not be as successful when pressed/tested.

​@@flytiibrah, Texas got like 16 more rebounds and 20 more shots against NC State lol. Most of those were in the paint. That's dominant. Unfortunately, Texas couldn't get the LSU, South Carolina, Iowa calls lol.

texas lives in the paint and inside the arc. that's their game, the majority of those offensive rebounds and fga's were because of missed bunnies and put backs and not because of the refs. Refs have been sus all tourney on both sides of the ball, but nc state was disciplined and didn't foul as you or anyone else might think. texas played a certain way all season that cheated the game, they sold too much, and got tons of points from doing so. Instead of playing straight up basketball and looking to score-specifically from inside the paint-they were looking to draw fouls and embellish and it caught up to them. That approach only gets you so far. I'm a 🤘🏽fan and watched all their games this year, but I call out their bs play or any teams bs when I see it.

It's weird how there are both male n female coaches in women's ncaa but not in the men's ncaa..I don't get it 🤔 They saying women can't be successful coaching a men's team?

☝️🤩 S. RIVERS has a Jordan - like physique....and she works the court in a similar fashion too .

@@shepowens1068 One was right 1 was wrong and it was agreed upon prior to the game to play as is. Both teams played on the same court so what's the difference? I agree at this level there shouldn't be an issue, the layout people should certainly be reprimanded.

I wish the teams could play in an empty stadium with no fans and instead have animals like leopards and cougars and moneys roaming around in the stands watching the women play.

They ran into a team that wanted it more, they have nothing to hang their heads about but it's amazing how far they came without Rori, but guess their luck ran out against NC State. But they'll definitely get to the Final Four next season and might even go all the way. Since next season they'll be even more dangerous will Rori Harmon back and hopefully healthier for the whole year, Madison Booker after seeing what she was able to do as a Freshman, and the fact that they most likely will return all but 2 players, the only two players who won't be back are Shaylee Gonzales, and Khadija Faye. Harmon, Booker, Holle, Gaston Moore, and Taylor Jones are all expected to return, the latter 3 all using Covid years.

​​@@steviedavis6782Yeah I don't know about that I personally don't think y'all were better than us we just had a bad day at the office and our luck ran out. Y'all probably got a fast start but our defense couldn't keep up. In most of the previous games we were making teams play the style that we wanted which was predicated on our defense holding teams below their season average but wasn't the case against y'all. Anyways great game comes down to who wants it more, and great season we went far without Harmon but with here we are easily in the Final 4 but good luck to y'all against South Carolina I'll be rooting for either Caitlin Clark or Paige Bueckers to win it all since I am a fan of both players.
