4 seed for Louisville this season is one of the worst seedings ever by the committee. They had no business being anything but a 1 or 2 seed

Those 3's that Taquan Dean put down in the 2nd half weren't just daggers, they nails in the coffin. GaTech lost all their mojo after that, and they fought so hard to get within 10.

So many steps not called in this game. But it was an exciting game! And "Palosh'es!"

I remember a lot of talk about this game and a lot of discussion about the seeding and how this game should have been later in the tourney since many feel Louisville got underseeded. Turned out to be one of the all-time 4-5 beatdown games (kinda like Auburn/Clemson this year)

Pitino really underachived at Louisville compared to what he did at UK. Even though I don't think we should have had the title vacated, when you take it away this is the only season he added a banner at louisville.

@@Kddoggx2002 Kentucky will always gave a recruiting advantage over UofL. No, he didn't under achieve at UofL! 3 FFs 3, EEs, And a National championship, in his time here. And no, they should not have won this year! Illinois should have! They had a squad. For Louisville, just making the FF in 05' solid! And BEFORE all the bs, recruiting was top notch. Anfernee Simons, Romeo Langford, Jordan Nwora, Enoch could have all been on the same squad.... I'm leaving out a major recruit, but Simons got better every yr, in HS and he's slowly making noise in Portland now..

@@dwayneturner9395 Rick most certainly underachieved. No excuse losing to Michigan St in the great 8. Never had any inside game, and rarely showed up vs UK.

Starlin Castro That year we would have faced UNC in the Maui Invitational (November 2004) had we not lost to Iowa (Steve Alford who we faced in the 2012 Round of 32 - New Mexico).

Timothy In 3 2 1 If the Final Four wasn’t in Detroit, I think we would have had a better chance that year.
