Here is a compilation of every NBC Peacock logo/announcer variant I could find from the 1950's, 60's and 70's. If I missed any, let me know.

they did were the person says "the following program is brought to you in living color on NBC" then it changed to the logo we have today
What makes this a little more hilarious is that in some variations, there's a little bit of a hilarious self-awareness, notably the "lively black & white" and "all the lawyers in LA are busy fighting NBC" variations.

When tv shows started to be broadcast in color I bugged the shit out of my parents to buy us a color tv. My family wasn't poor, but my parents held firm and stuck with our Zenith black and white tv. In 1965, my family moved to Abilene, Texas where we lived on base at Dyess AFB. We were staying in the NCO family housing until we could be approved for a housing unit. We moved to Dyess a few days before Christmas of 65, and in the common room of the NCO temporary housing, there was a color tv that me and my sister would watch our favorite shows on. On New Years Day of 66, my mom and dad went with us to the common room lounge to watch the Rose Parade. My mom loved seeing it in color and a few days later my dad loaded the family in our pink (yes, it was Pepto Bismol pink) 62 Rambler station wagon and headed off to the local Montgomery Ward Store. He then shocked the hell out of me by heading to the electronics department where he proceeded to buy a 21" color tv. I didn't know it at the time, but I found out later that Magnavox licensed their TVs for sale by Montgomery Ward. I just recently purchased a 65" Samsung QN90A tv, and I paid about $1700 for it. I've had it for less than a month and I must say it's the best tv I've ever owned. Great for watching sports on. I'm looking forward to the Bengals playing the Titans this weekend. They are a great young team, but I believe they're still a few players and a year or two away from competing for and winning a Super Bowl. Enjoy this weekend's games, folks.

Oh, man, that jazz theme 0:55!! I wager there weren't too many people with color sets back in the 50s. When was the peacock first introduced, do you know?? 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 And Jack Benny, PRICELESS!!

This is where NBC got their peacock logo, which then evolved as the decades went on.
Voiceovers of interest: Ben Grauer, Fred Collins, Mel Brandt, Vic Roby. When the "Kaleidoscopic Peacock" was used between 1962-75, it would be used before the start of a local special, in, say, Washington . Vic Roby would say, "Now a special program brought to you in living color, on WRC-TV".

0:01 You Call That Living Color?
6:52-That was the peacock that appeared on "The Bugaloos" (it guarded the entrance to Benita Bizarre's jukebox).
