This game was released 10 31 1998 same day as knock out kings. The first and only ko kings to receive an e for everyone before it's permanent rating was t for teen .since boxing is a contact sport ea sports felt that it should be rated e for everyone like other sports titles but blood effects actually persuaded the T for Teen rating as effective as knock out kings 2000

NBA live 99 good game because the graphics isn't that bad compared to the other NBA live game but you did a fantastic job on that game keep it up

98 was the start of the big step up for NBA live.

I remembered a lot that NBA LIVE 99 was the FIRST NBA LIVE game to include "Cyber Athlete 1999" Intro.

i play this game all the time... i miss the days..

Those intros were dope. Astonishing how nowadays instead of progress, developers simplified and cutted everything

I also remembered that NBA LIVE 14 removed 75 features from NBA LIVE 10 as well.

People dont understand upgrading from Sega version of NBA Live to PlayStation version was the equivalent of going from PlayStation to PS5 these graphics at that particular time was top tier 😂😂😂

Shame that gameplay in PS1 games are far smoother than PS5 games.

*First Live and as usual Miami on top.*

Nba live 99 was very hard to find none of these retro gaming who seem to have just about every game did not have it until I visited book off and it was there ps1 version for 3 dollars. And in March I got nba live 99 n64 for 3 dollars

@@VideoGaming4U that s awesome .the Atari 2600 releases 9 11 1977 and lifespan lasted until January 1992. Same.month year Bret Hart wrestled the undertaker for the first time and Bret lost to undertaker. The ps2 would be my all time favorite game console still the best selling console in gaming history. Also ps2 is the only console to sell 1 million. Units In just 24 hours

All former Celtics since Celtics my all time favorite nba team .however today in 2019 they may get eliminated by the bucks and honestly if bucks win the series I will pick them to win 2019 nba finals

One reason why I do CPU vs CPU is A. I'm truly not good at sport games and B. I do CPU vs. CPU so it's not automatically assumed "the player" will be the victor. Now. I have played a good bit of sport games that requires you to play like Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball on snes, NHL one on one, NBA Jam, just to name a few.

Have you read the Stephen curry .wife ayesha curry wanting more attention from other guys. ? ?? This trend alone got all the attention from the media like 9 11 2001 did and to be honest I think is a pointless trend especially because we as men know woman are never satisfied with one guy and also whenever a man is married and he is not there for love and affection the woman will seek it from someone else

@@VideoGaming4U yup. Average dudes in 2019 struggle to find true love while nba mega like Stephen curry kyrie Irving Kevin Durant James hardan don't have to worry put up with heartbreak /deception infidelity. They are selected randomly for love and romance

Its amazing how much this game sucks and looks horrible lol ...As a 15 year old this game was everything to me😂😂😂😂
