Just found your channel. Wow you are great Mr Gary. The nostalgia hit hard with this. Thanks to you I've found many games from my childhood I forgotten or didn't know the name of. Awesome channel!!
Such an epic console with a vast library of rare classics that can be emulated flawlessly and always have something to play.

Best Mech based game ever on PS1
Silent Bomber & Gear Fighter Dendoh is amazing. I can't believe i missed those gems. Thanks to you.
I use to play the heck out of C12 Final Resistance. What an underrated PS1 gem.
Brave Fencer Musashi is one of my favorite games ever. A total underrated RPG/JRPG, so full of charm and didn't take itself too serious. Amazing soundtrack. Gekido is one of my favorite beat'em ups ever. Tail Concerto rocks my socks. Such a cute game. Einhander is one of my favorite 2-3D side scrollers ever. I still play it from time-to-time and it has a rocking soundtrack.

Brave Fencer Musashi is my 4th favorite game of all time. I play it once or twice a year.
superb list as always, sir. love to see that N2O got some love
Legend of Legaia is so underrated, I hardly see anyone mention it when it comes to PS1 games. I really hope they either make a reboot or sequeal.

There is a Legend of Legaia 2. Legend of Legaia is the Best Gem imo
@davidmccormick550
Жыл бұрын
Legaia 2 is more of same universe-ish. Good, but different feel. Bigger cast, but also not as much flexibility. Each character was locked to a single element, and the storyline wasn’t as good. At least that’s my opinion. One thing I didn’t like was the addition of racism and the backstabbing main villain. Avalon had one of the best themes ever, but he just didn’t feel like a real character. Edit: Crafting system was god-tier. Best one so far , including Elden Ring. Only thing it lacked was attack items, but you can craft weapons, armor, accessories, and items, including stat boosts. Getting Avernus gems could only be done in the final dungeon, as it was a steal item. You could customize your characters, including bonus stat. The full crafting guide for accessories needs to be seen to be believed. 2nd Edit: Ps2 game.

What A amazing list Gary. Now I can go and check them out 👍👍❤❤❤❤
Happy to see Evil Zone, Kingsley's Adventure Sheep Raider, Rakugaki Showtime, and *_especially_* Tail Concerto here. Tail Concerto is currently my most wanted game and I am hoping Atlus and CyberConnect2 remake it at some point.
this is my favorite PS1 game 0:12 starring _Bruce Willis_
Sadly, I’m not seeing anyone else talking about Tai Fu or Running Wild. These games are my childhood; some of my all time fave rentals back in the day of the video store
I’ve still got Dragon Valor, love that it’s getting some love here, brilliant game. Thanks for reminding me some of these exist also, I’ve got an expensive eBay run to do now :D
Very glad to see Skullmonkeys and Tiny Tank get some love. I had never seen footage of The Divide or Gundam Battle Assault but they both look killer!
The Adventures of Lomax is such a beautiful looking game, but it is so hard because of the hitboxes for some of the obstacles.
Played a lot, never heard of a lot. Was looking for a bunch I forgot, thanks!
Thanks for the smiles mate 🤙🏿 awesome videos. Nostalgic forsure
Nice to see, Italian Job, Shipwreck and even World's Scariest Police Chases!!
Brilliant list !
I'm so glad Evil Zone is here. Thanks Gary.

I still play Evil Zone (I have all three regions) my survival mode score is highest 32, lowest 26. I typically play the Japanese version for its intro music, and also to hear the original dialog of the game. Really wish it got its sequel like it was planned, I always thought Ihadurca would reincarnate into another host but have to fight for good this time, like how she kept trying to absorb Karin, what if that causes her to reincarnate as a good entity? Random ideas but I still wish they happened. Have a good day all!

Very well done list,if only a bit more of time on the samples but great work, beautiful games .
Thank you so much for putting C-12 Final Resistance you saved my time, been looking for it for ages but i couldn't remember the title.
Some of these titles aren't that hidden anymore, but I guess that comes just naturally when you cover 100 titles in one vid. The majority of those indeed are though, so, great selection! :)
The Square era before Enix....
now i know what title game i used to play back then. thanks gary. you da man.
Wow seeing battle hunter on this list makes me happy! A friend and I put our money together in high school and walked down to toys r us to pick out a game to buy. We ended up with Battle Hunter and loved it
Happy new year, Gary 👍
I'm tickled pink that you gave Speed Punks some acknowledgement. Too many people sleep on it because of the driving physics.
Was looking for zero divide for 5 years. Thanks
I only knew about 6% of the games, and the rest of 'em looked so fun. I adore PS1's unique graphics still.
Wild 9 is super underrated. Used to love that game growing up
I still play Front Mission 3 to this day. One of my favorites of all time

So many options
Great collection of some forgotten gems.
im so happy that i could see omega boost, poy poy and rakugaki showtime in here haha
Warzone 2100 actually has a freeware release for the PC. when the company shuttered, the liscense holder published the source code and a dedicated group of fans have been updating and balancing the game ever since. plays well on modern systems and only takes up a GB of space.
man, of all 100 ive only played einhander, speedpunks and azure dreams. crazy how many games there were that are just unknown
Legend of Legaia is one of my favorite games, even now. Ehergeiz: Enter the ring was good, and had a rpg storyline with the fighting game. Silent Bomber was decent, but Nintendo Hard is an understatement. Tai Fu : Enter the tiger was good, but platforming was up to That One Level in Crash bandicoot.
Great job👍🏻❤
Graphics, sci-fi, mechas, music, a lot of good stuff here !
Excelente lista, he echado en falta algunos míticos sleepers como the grand stream saga o incluso los mejores juegos net yarotze. Aunque eso quizás mejor en otro video de juegos independientes
Terracon is really awesome, I'm surprised how it flew under the radar for so many people.
Vib Ribbon is one of the most underrated design games ever made..still love this game and still gaming it with my hold ps
Finally Team Buddies is on a list. It is a must try. Also Star Ixiom is a pretty good space shooter.

@@YuzuOtonashi It comes from a time when studios used to have smaller teams making games like this and more free reign to include things like swearing etc. I think it just wouldn't be a safe bet to make it now. Maybe an indie dev might make something similar. It's hard to even find any info on the making of team buddies.
wow Beyond the Beyond looks like a prototype of Golden Sun on GBA! Camelot made some good stuff
I wanna try check some of those out I've already tried a few of these, and I must say, Threads of Fate is one of the best games I could ever find, it's an extremely fun adventure with LOADS of gags
Wow the best hidden gems video ever. All of them are really good
good selection
Yeah Lomax, Apocalypse, G-police .... all time Favorites.
man, alot of these still look like youd have a blast.
bishi nashi special was maybe my favorite bargain bin game i ever got. game was so insane and fun
I kinda wanna cry when I remember the old days with these games
graphics look really nice, wot r u using to have this clarity?
Psygnosis was featured quite a bit here. I remember them from when they made Lemmings.
i dont know any of these games but they all look SO GOOD
One additional fun game for anyone interested would be Trap Gunner. In single player its OK, but if played with someone that is fun as hell. Its like a bit more complex version of bomberman that focuses on 1v1 matches.

PlayStation 1 games with the many hidden gems and forgotten years discovery of very rare obscurely on the local and internet.
So many of these games I had completely forgot about, kingsleys adventure, i played the demo for hours! and crime killer! xD
oh I miss the golden age of gaming
Whether they 'hidden' is subjectives, but they're definitely gems with some cool ideas that sadly never caught on.
A minha revolta é de que eu não conhecia esses games de PS1!!! Por vou pegar os nomes de todos e testar😁🥳👍
Dragon Valor and Future Cop are AWESOME games.
Chaos Break and Crisis Beat were two of my very very favourite games in PS1! EDIT: OMG Shaolin as weird as it was, was one of my beloved gems too! And Kensei! And Gekido! So many good memories...
8:12 one of my all-time faves. Desperate need of a remake.
I remember Incredible Crisis.. good times.. but where Tomba 1 & 2?
I am glad to see Brave Fencer Musashi and Blast Chamber on here, but I am suprised that both Bugs Bunny games aren't here.
Glad to see team buddies here
If you look closely, you will see From Software trying to make first Demon Souls :D
Loved the names as closed caption. Better to see the games
Blast chamber may of been the game i was searching for
Gekido was really fun. But I do remember that game as a not fighting game, but like Street of rage. Still can hear the “Gorrrila” hahaha! I also expected to see Steel Reign. Was one of my favorite
4:30 Finally i found this game!Thx!
I was hoping to see Apocalypse, and lo behold :D If there's a game that personifies 90s, its that
Omega boost is dope!
Sooo many good memories
Never heard of any of these games shown here before.....but they do look cool for what they were
Wow chaos break has some fluid third person animations especially for a ps1
I can't believe you put team buddies but missed hogs of wars
I knew a few of these games, but i didn't realise sony developed C12, now that's a surprise!
i remember some of these from the Playstation 1 magazine each month, 5 pounds, would have a lot of demos...
Destrega is so simple yet so fun same with unholy war. I miss these games
Haha nice to see Boombots in there!
I only played a demo of Sheep Raider but has to be one of the best Looney Toons games ever. I need to play through it soon
I described Tail Concerto once to a friend who after very patiently listening to me for two minutes asked, "Are you sure that was a real game?"

Xenogears legend of legaia and brave fencer Musashi were my favorite games
Pretending to be sick to not attend school and just playing playstation and eating junk foods the whole day. Those were the good old freaking days. Lol!
3:11 Oh, there she goes~
In The Hunt was on Neo Geo. I remember it in the arcade
These games seem wayyyyy more creative than the handful of game types regurgitated these days.
I loved Shipwreckers so much
Back then when games are fun and have a lots of genres.
ghost in the shell was my fav
