New York would have beat Indiana if not for a couple of unfortunate injuries.

@awfulcoaching I dont know if you realize it or not, but the raptors entered a 4 year rebuild after they traded siakam and og anunoby. they are suppose to be bad for a while. Darko is just a developmental coach meant to give young guys playing time, he isnt there to win. also they had alot of injuries and tragedies last season so it was a revolving door of gleague or 10 day contracts. also the raptors 19th pick does matter as they picked ja'kobe walter at 19 who was suppose to go as high as 12. he is gary trent jr replacement, as gary trent jr wants 20 million a year for 4 years to resign with raptors. gary trent jr is not worth 80 million so they drafted his replacement. the fact the raptors traded in and got three 2nd round picks on top of the 19th pick tells you the raptors are in the starting phase of a rebuild so they are suppose to be bad while they develop young players. free agents dont sign in toronto so they have to rebuild through the draft next 3-4 years. that is just the reality of the toronto market.
