Nope. Blame the NBA and 2K for their exclusive contract with the NBA. It costs them more than $1B/yr. This is also seems to be why NBA Live won't come back anytime soon. Also, blame copyright law making players' likeness fall under copyright, meaning they have to pay NBA players to use them in a game. NBA contract allows them to use current players, NBA legends they have to individually contract - this is why Charles Barkley is not in the game - he declined.

That’s the sad truth. The only reason they care about the VC farming is bc it’ll make them lose money unlike the auto greening.

I really hope ea makes another nba live. And I know there will be some sort of micro transactions but it shouldn't be as bad as 2k. I have no problem spending $30-$50 on a build but not like 2k where you gotta spend more than $100 to get your dude to an 85 overall.

2k24 is a bad game, it has so many problems that can’t be compared to the good old days where blacktop online was good idea, park was a good idea, limiting the dribble moves to height was a bad idea, the build system from 21 and up was a bad system and limited jumpshot choice to height was a bad idea.

2k18-2k20 was the beginning of the end

What’s funny is that Mike Wang says every year it's a great game, then it gets even worse than the year before.

I only play 2k when i can, it’s not a pressing issue to me anymore.if i go off i go off and if not i could care less. What i will tell you though is that im not putting anymore money into that game. I used to love my team but now i could care less because the pay to win aspect. Refuse to drop thousands of dollars to get the best cards. 😂

To be honest my biggest issue is that in the first two months there was a gap of who can shoot and not, but rigth now in theather and rec every black plate everybody shooting over 60% that’s just killing the game cause the player cards dosen’t mean shit. Most builds have shooting on their builds, they needa focus on making everything else matter like strength, speed, weight, height, and all other attributes. Also gotta balance out the sigs so that there’s actual reward for all of them and not everyone running around with the same player and sigs

22 is GOATed not 17 tho. I just do Play Now with custom rosters like making Larry Bird 6'10 and a 99 overall like he should be, same with Wilt giving Wilt and Bill Russell the athleticism they deserve like Wilt having MJ free throw dunks and Giannis dribble moves, 98 fadeaway. Among updating other things like making KD 6'11 and making a Len Bias and Reggie Lewis Celtics team. Prime Sabonis and adding Wembanyama giving him all time KD attributes with 99 block and 95 3pt. Fun to play that game.

The last Topspin2k (Topspin 4) was in released in 2011👀

They dont always pay all of the VC you earn in some games. Ive played daily streeball challenges with 750 reward, win the game and earn 350 in game VC on top of that and only gotten one or the other. Considering everything is so expensive in the shops that grinding and not buying VC, i cant afford any of the swag. 10,000 VC is crazy for shoes and that’s just a start. Its wild.

Man I deleted 24 idk how many months ago. I have a love for the sport of basketball and the game itself but man I cant stand what these games have come to. This shit is just not playable anymore. These little kids love these games bc they aren't spending their own money and they're growing up in a gaming world where they only care about revenue and not about the players. Honestly Badge the best time to play 2k is in the beginning when nobody can’t cheat because there are no scripts and people are still figuring the game out. I’m good at what I do at 2k and I always succeed since 2k18. Sf that can play defense and spot up, this year was beneficial because layup was cheap to upgrade so I could finish at the rim on fast breaks opportunities if by 2k I wasn’t PF 😂
