@@danielallen7384 Thats not a fair comparison at all. They're 2 completely different angles. The right side is closer to the audience with more lighting - while the left side is farther away so it looks darker in the background. You can't compare the 2 if it's different scenes

XSX has better close up texture on fabric and better sweat. PS5 is better at contrast and smooth, rich, colour tones. Basically, XSX is ideally created to offer a PC-like experience exceeding consoles for fidelity . PS5 is ideally created to offer a colourful console experience exceeding PCs for rich colour tone and contrast (as well as, of course, for controller method via the PS5 Dual Sense). In other words, they both win in different ways on paper. In practice, PS5 is more difficult for devs to quickly deliver enhanced versions of games also released for last gen. That's partly because they are likely to use the PS4 Pro version as the starting point, which is not quite as powerful as the Xbox One X

Xbox did an amazing job with their load times, both consoles are blazing fast at the end of the day though, but early comparisons show the ps5 is killing it, extremely happy with my PS5 purchase. Still going to pick up a Series X when they're more easily available! Loving this gen already.

Not necessarily, the XSX just has more saturation in most comparisons I’ve seen, PS5 is slightly brighter, watch this video on a 4k tv and you’ll see there’s absolutely no difference in texture detail, if you’re watching from you’re phone then you’re wasting your time

Because the difference is so slight and some games do better on one console and some do better on the other, I’d say it’s almost the same.

Let’s be real. Both look absolutely beautiful compared to last year on the old consoles.

As far as details, the look identical but the color mapping is different on both. Reminds me of the Samsung vs Apple camera comparison where Samsung would use HDR and oversaturate photos (PS5) and Apple will go with more accurate colors (XBX)

Xbox has the slight edge. But it's so small that you could never tell without comparing them side by side.

The Ps5 has better skin and cloth textures in my opinion. On the court, you can see noticeably more lighting on the characters.

I feel like it’s close, but you can definitely see a slightly small improvement in the animations and character models. Plus, there is more brightness capabilities on the Xbox Series X version.

The sweat on currys face for the Xbox is more noticeable even tho we’re not certain if the logos are in the right spots....

Ps5 looks a little smoother but the xbx def has higher settings on shadows & textures. Really noticeable on faces

Sports games always ran better on Xbox. Check out 1:31 to 1:50 - the difference in gameplay. Xbox runs like a real live NBA game.

Xbox has better color balancing and makes things look natural. But Ps5 has the better exclusives so far so it’s a no brainer which one most gamers would prefer. Consoles have always been about “who has the better games and which one do my friends have” so graphics are an afterthought.

It will be noticeable when developers start using all the power at disposal. Developers haven't even started, then the GPU and CPU will tell the true story and comparisons will be shocking, by that time ps5 pro will come to compensate, then xbox will aslo have an elite console as well.

Bigest difference between PlayStation and Xbox always controller.... people who using PlayStation controller is very difficult to transfer to Xbox... I have both console and know this very good

@2:21 looking at where the hair meets the background the series x is more defined. Where the ps5 just kinda blurs out. And before you say its because the backgrounds are diffrent, the black background should provide an easier clean image where the two meet. So the series x was at a slight disadvantage because of the background but still looked slightly better. Thats the difference in 9.2 tflops and 12 tflops. Both still look great though!

As a photographer I work with color hue correction all the time. When I pause the video on their faces, It seems as though on playstation 5 they pulled the slider a bit too far to the purple. The Xbox in my opinion held a more natural color. But that typically is a quick fix so I’m guessing its more of a style preference rather than a mistake.

@Cole Bodine yea I did also notice the yellow especially on the xbox was a tad bit oversaturated. They probably could tone down the warmness on the xbox side to more blue. Its just a minor white balance adjustment. Not entirely sure why the development team decided to go with a different white balance for the two consoles, but my guess is, they has two separate teams working on it. Yea sometimes its the limitation of the software, but I think it was deliberate

If you're watching this on youtube and don't have the game with either system in this video, you can't come to the conclusion that the graphics "aren't that impressive" especially if this video is only 1080 60fps.

@@NoName-hj5hg as a gamer of both consoles. Me personally don't pick consoles strictly over exclusives. I pick them for performance,power and capability. This is why I chose the xsx . They are erasing the past and building the present and future. Ps4 was the best console 7 years but the tide has changed . But I will get a ps5 later bc I'm a fan of the exclusives. If it wasn't for that I could care less. And that's how I see it 🙂. Be happy on your selection bc you got to live with it. I'm satisfied 😄.

Iv always been a playstation man, but tbh the complexions on steph and Jordan are considerably better on the xbox

Very close, and that's a good thing for gaming. The surprise is that X is not only keeping up, but outperforming the PS5 in load times.

Both look amazing and fun to play, enjoy it brothers.

Same thing as last gen PS5 is more white and Xbox is more contrasted

I noticed more skin texture and sweat drops on the XSX version. Especially on Jordan’s arms where they were absent on the Ps5 version. Also notice the shadow that appears on the players face at 3:00 that is absent on the Ps5 version. Both are almost identical overall though.

They gotta do something with these colors, mannnnn.. like their blacks are greys on here too. Like the nets jerseys and so on

go to 2:17 and curry looks better on xbox from sweat to skin color. 3:11 the purple is deeper and looks better on xbox. Seems like the xbx has better deeper colors.

Steph Curry model on the XSX looks straight real life, PS5 not too far behind.

Actually it looks better on ps5 because his skin tone is morr accurate hes too yellow on Xbox I noticed they have innacurate colors on the Xbox but that could just be the TV or Monitor

I feel at this point in gaming technology, they are equal. The ps5 looks a bit more vibrant but I actually like the less vibrant and more realistic coloration if the XSX in this particular video. I don’t if the coloration is really due to the console themselves or just the settings. The consoles can handle what developers have to throw at them and the key thing when it comes t graphics right now will be how beautiful the developers can make a game look. For instance you see a game and looks good then they make a sequel(still on the same console) and the sequel looks better and the third game looks even better and so on and so on. You can see that it wasn’t the console, it’s just developer technology and capability.

XSX for me they both are great but the X has a slight Edge besides I always was in Xbox lover

Xbox is built to have the slight edge with the hardware but what matters the most is fps. Thats where you see the real differences. On 2k it looks almost the same because its same fps. xbox player myself

Looks exactly the same in terms of graphics,resolution and fps the colour is dependent on your tv and capture method and you can always adjust according to preference.
