I started playing around 2k9 (was more of a NBA Live player before that). I remember 2k13 is when they first introduced the right stick as the pro stick/for dribble moves. Absolutely changed the game of 2k forever. And a fire soundtrack by Jay-Z 🔥 whew good times

Frfr, this is when 2k wasn't as competitive and you and had to worry about ppl try harding or nothing it was just perfect, times will never he the same like when this game first was intro and people were hyped for it, but these times will be remembered!💯

This 2k was so great because the competition was wild. Still had the core of the Celtics, Lakers, and Spurs dynasties. With fierce new competitors like the Heat, Chicago, and OKC. Dark horses like the Clippers, Hawks, Golden State, Knicks. The league was actually electric. I don’t even watch basketball anymore but this point in time, 2012-2013 was the most memorable. In game and in real life.

It’s weird being 10 years away from this game. I still play it all the time. Why does it feel like over time 2k started regressing after 2k14? Not that the games after weren’t like fun but the Vibe 13 and 14 brought me was so different and I feel like they completely lost that touch. From the 2k beats and the Online Blacktop (Better than Park imo) and the movement. For some reason old gen (Xbox 360 and PS3) 2ks hit so different. From the Rookie Showcase, to the generic team interviews lol, and to stuff like Creating a legend and the association. This game truly stood well against the test of time imo.
