How does this look better than 2K20 gameplay and player movement wise? The game looked better 7 years ago than it does now.

At 6:37 u hear a lady in the crowd yell "GUARD HIM, COME ON!" Thats crazy lol.. I think thats Gabriel Union hahahaha

I dont know if this was in last year's game, but I REALLY like the player chatter im hearing on the court. Adds a whole new level of immersion.

+Jarvell Wilson 13 by far had the best presentation but graphics and gameplay are better in the last ones

@@NavyBluePersonGuy are you pertaining for NBA 2K14 on ps4 or ps3?? I'm pertaining about the last gen. and not the PS4/Xbox one engine.

There actually are a good number of improvements in the game this year. You can see them in the trailer. You already know about the total control stick, I'm sure -- but then there's much more player-on-player contact. Better passing. You can follow your jumpshot now, instead of waiting for an animation to finish. Fastbreak spacing is actually in the game now. All these things are in the trailer, you just have to pay attention, and there's more you wonn't notice until you actually play it.

I love the crowd noise.

After playing EA games exclusively over the past 10 years, I am amazed by how GREAT the commentary is. You will never have an EA sports commentator mention past games or pick up an earlier conversation. I would LOVE to see an NFL 2k13 or NCAA 2k13

I loved that one! I was playing the demo on the pc all the time :)

One thing i've noticed is that you know longer gravitate to a defender while driving to the hoop. In 2k12, even if you managed to take your man off the ball he would recover unrealistically fast and basically spawn in front of you and push you away, sometimes even causing a turnover! I was skeptical but this might be even better than 2k12.

Did you play this game as 'Quick Game' or you played it in 'My Career'. I started to play NBA 2K13 yesterday and I don't know how to choose teams for 'Quick Game'. I played only Miami vs Oklahoma quick game.

6:10 LeBrons spin move was crazy

Nicest part of this vid was the ball to basket interactions. Swooshes look more realistic in this year's game as well as misses.

Blocking a shot is not the only form o defense. Defense is best measured through opposing player efficiencies when a player is on the court or guarding them as opposed to when they are on the bench.

I wonder if it is even easier to control your player and use the special types of layups? I wouldn't even use the Euro or Hopstep because it would be too difficult to actually complete the move.

Did you end up playing 2k13? do you like it? I actually think it's much better than 2k12 was but it still misses a certain flow i feel 2k11 had. I was able to play a great point forward in 2k11 , figuring out how to make the right pass and seeing good plays before hand but in 2k13 the i can't do that nearly as well.

Is there way to control other player in my team besides my own character during the gameplay? i dont play nba games i mostly plkay nhl and madden and i think the commentating is very strong in this game such great commentating

now if only madden would have this kind of commentary i would not mind playing them a bit more often

the animations seem a lil less robotic than the last one. I think the biggest improvement is the controls have been overhauled to be more accessible to your dribble modifier similar to live.

I have purchased the last 4 NBA2K games and was debating getting this one (I am a BULLS fans and I miss D ROSE) but after seeing the animations I am buying this game TODAY, it looks like a serious upgrade in that department and feels more like a real NBA game, KUDOS to the 2K teams !

The first time I ever played a Basketball game was 2k11. I enjoy it very much, but I thought it missed something. Then 2k12 came along and at first was kind of hard to adjust, didn't love it right away. I made myself familiar with all commands and started a MyPlayer - a 7ft Slashing SF. It was fun for 2 seasons, full 12 minutes play with 10 simulated games +/-, but then... boredom. The only thing that kept me playing was the Online mode, which sucks btw. It would be nice to hav Online My Player.

well you can make your own shoes, have allen iverson, have the 92 dreamteam, better dribbling controls ex. using right stick away to move the ball away or move it towards the opponent to push. Oh and you get the all star weekend if you preorder and you think its the same game

how come the pass button only sometimes works? I press it and it pass fakes waaayy too much. Not liking that in the demo. I don't like depressing the button completely I'd rather tap the button to pass.

Okay, you are probably right. But at some point they gotta have it that you buy the game and every year you just download the update with all the upgrades this way the update might be cheaper from year to year instead of the way it is now, spending $60 every year.

I feel you, i am hoping it is good this year but i JuST KNEW 2K12 was going to be better in every way and got disappointed . like you said there is a smoothness to 2k11 that 2k12 lost and i hope they found in 2k13 but won;t know until i get a controller in my hand

they brought some new stuff this year and that play calling thing that the players do in 2k9

its not dwight doesnt have the black arm sleeves on 2k12 ive updated to roster on 2k12 and he never comes out with those sleeves
