Even I born and lived in Lahore but I love karachi's culture

I am not from Nazimabad but I feel pride that Nazimabad produced a lot of talented and well known persons who contributed a lot for the progress of Pakistan

I was born and raised in Nazomabad No. 4 It was a beautiful place and beautiful life. Now only a cherished memory.

I m pakhtoon and visited Karachi only once. It was extremely painful for me when I would hear clashes among pakhtoon/Muhajir. I don’t know the situation there now but I request all Pakistanis to please be united and dont split up, please.

General Pervaiz musharaf lived in nazimabad no 3 with his family in his teenage

My home was just 10 minutes walk from library of Ghalib

I use to live in nazimabad no 1 and move to USA 30 years ago love this place

I remember in late sixty when we give 9th class Board exam in the school adjacent to Ghalib Library (it was one of the beautiful buildings at that time) what a beautiful area was at that time, (The Board Office Building, was like a paradise, so beautiful I cannot explain in words) we move freely all over Karachi without any fear. Karachi University was out of town and need special transportation to go to University. and people tell us that soon we will have a safari park close of university at that time there was nothing on University road it was like a desert except Hysons Bulb factory. I think we were very lucky to saw the Golden time of Karachi. Trams and double Decker buses were on the street. I left Pakistan in 1980 first to Saudi Arabia and now in Canada. Love the old is gold memory. Karachi has been destroyed by the greed and selfishness. We cannot point finger to one entity I think all are responsible somwhow in damaging the great city.

My father build his house in Nazimabad 3 C. His name was Dr. Syed Mujtaba Karim, he was professor of physics and head of department. He retired in late 60s. He passed away in Toronto Jan 29, 1989. May Allah bless his soul.

I was living in Nazimabad No.1......sajid Hassan I am crying now to see Nazimabad.......last 3 decades living abroad and never came in my native country.

What a great show. Rekindled my childhood memories spanning from 1970 to 1985. Lived in Nazimabad No. 2 (1970 to 1974), Nazimabad No. 1 (1974 to 1985). Cricketer Saleem Yousuf used to live in Nazimabad No. 2 in the same street where I used to live. All in all, it was a fantastic period that I can never forget.😊

I lived there from 1960 and it was a paradise ; no hatred, no muhajirs no Punjabis no puthans they were all Pakistani. But ever since MQM and Zia it all got destroyed

MrSmalik21. NO MQM was created by Goher Ayyub Pahatans (For not supporting Ayuub Khan but Mohaterma Fatima Jinnah in 1964 elections) and Z.A.Bhutto Sindhi ministers. You probably don't remember but Burning Mohajers Abbadis at Gujjar Nala Nazimabad in 1965 and than using live bombs to destory Lalu Khate Mohajers during Urdu riot ( As per famous poet Rais Amrohi "URDU KAA JANAZA HAY ZARA DHOOM SAY NIKLAY"

Nazimabad was heritage , It changed 2 reasons one global and 2nd political ,and including this has glorious reputation. Its best & unique movie of the heart of the city. A lots of professor , Doctors, poets , politicians were there including my chemistry teacher prof. Jawed siddiqe , Raghib muradabadi ( poet ) , Durrani sahib TV artist and many more . کراچی کا تہزیبی گہوارہ ناظم آباد کو کہا جاتا رھا ھے اور اس میں قطعی کوئی شک نہیں.. یہاں ایک اور ہستی بھی قیام پزیر تھیں اور وہ تھے جناب عبدالحمید صاحب عُرف گولی جو ہاکی کے کھلاڑی تھے اور سابق اولمپیئن تھے. اسکے علاوہ حمید صاحب PIA میں بطور ڈپٹی منیجر کے ریٹائر ہوئے اور فروری سنہ دو ہزار دس میں وفات پا گئے تھے.
