Nazgul5 v1 v2 Evoque Setup For Beginners - HD DJI FPV Goggles and Transmitter

Спорт

This is the first half of the setup of the nazgul 5 / nazgul evoque for beginners. I purchased these two drones at the end of week 1 of my newbie learn to FPV challenge. I set up the nazgul5 v1/2 first. And after doing so, was confident enough while doing the evoque to record it. I hope this helps

    Great explanation man, just starting out with my Nazgul Evoque. Hope I won't have too many problems 😅 P.S: which version of the dpi assistant am I supposed to use?? The 2nd version is discontinued and I can't find another one...

    I could use a refresher on how to configure the controller, Ang,Horz,Acro modes. I know that's a BF thing, but still, would like to see a video.

    just wondering.. the button for binding the dji air unit to the goggles is it behind the lid (for the usb c port) or is it the small gap just beneath the letters HD? i think i messed up with trying to connect the tbs crossfire had to disassemble the bottom part to get to the receiver.. got it to connect but after assembling it back i only get one bleep when i plug in the battery instead of the whole array of bleeping its supposed to do...

    The button for the goggles and the controller is at the rear of the quad. Theres a usb c port and a hole below and towads the back. If you angle the quad correctly, youll see the light turn red inside when you press it. Use something non metal. Like a toothpick.

    Hi mate, what’s the antenna connection? SMA or RP-SMA? Planning to upgrade the antenna but I haven’t received my evoque yet.

  • @IconicProps

    The antenna is a standard SMA coax connection. The antenna on the drone isnt as big an upgrade as getting the lumineire patch antennas or nubbies.

    my drone if i accelerate a little, it raises the acceleration to the maximum by itself, without propeller, is this normal without propeller?

  • @IconicProps

    @IconicProps

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes its normal. The gyro isnt sensing change so it tries to keep adjusting and adding throttle.

    I ordered Nazgul5 f5 evoque deadcat hd gps. But its receiver is TBS Crossfire Nano RX. I have a DJI goggles. Is it possible to connect them? I need another part to connect?

  • @royofzo4698

    @royofzo4698

    Жыл бұрын

    the TBS crossfire nano RX is a radio receiver, not a video transmitter. You cán order a nazgul with with a cadx vista (wich is a dji video system) that is compatible with the dji goggles v2. In order to be able to fly the nazgul with the crossfire receiver you will need a radio/controller that uses the crossfire protocol. You can look up on google wich radio's are crossfire compatible. Unfortunately the DJI controller that comes with the dji fpv is not crossfire. As a matter of fact that controller is only compatible with the dji fpv and more recently the DJI Avata

    Hi I can’t get my drone (like yours) to bind with my dji V2 goggles. The radio was no problem. I have the dji fpv system so I just got the drone and radio and was told I can use my goggles so I don’t have to buy another one.

    I went tango 2 and crossfire. All the research i did pointed toward crossfire. Latency can be an issue with dji and better range on crossfire i've heard as well. Should be getting my controller and nazgul in the next couple days.

  • @IconicProps

    @IconicProps

    From my experience, your video will go out before the TX. So adding crossfire won't do much. Unless you really like the controller better. That being said I purchased the lumineir nubbies and my range got better. Line of sight, I have been out 800 to 1200 yards. I can fly it 100 yards or so away in and out of concrete parking structures, which is about as far as I like to go.

    Most of the iflight quads have a good tune on them out of the box. The nazgul evoque was the only one I didn't care for, it was a little too fast. I will do a video that goes over the things that might go wrong. And what I do, but I am pretty new when it comes to tuning. I suggest the nazgul5 v1.5 (300 on amazon) or the v2 (375). I don't care for the nazgul as much as everyone else does. Its heavier. Thicker arms, but I have smashed all my quads into about everything you can hit and havent broken much. I just posted a video of the iflight nazgul5 with the skirtz, v2 config. And that thing is my absolute favorite now.

    I now have betaflight down pretty well. What I am about to say, will sound really dumb. but it is important. The hardest part is getting it to connect. The next step, is playing velocidrone. Pick a drone you like (I suggest the 533 or littlebastard). Fly it a bit, and get it so that you can fly it smoothly. You don't need to be great, just get proficient in navigating the level. (Coastal) Once you have that. close your eye, do a 180) open them, did you do a 180? Yes, you r rates are pretty close., No? Fix rates a bit (advanced drone setup). Once those rates are close, make sure you have betaflight 4.2 or better. Open up pid tuning. Set the settings just like velocidrone. You will be amazed that almost all 5 inch quads, will take those settings and fly similar. I am working on a how to train fpv skills. I made some huge advances in flying in about 5 days (day 45 ish) with some new training techniques I used. I wans to give them all out, from start to now.

    So, bind the goggles first. To do so, turn on the quad, and press the button til it goes red (on the air unit). Do a long press on the goggle bind button. If it doesnt build do two firm, presses. You should see and hear it make a beep and go black. Hint. If you see black. Take the lense cap off.
