I actually live in naxos and our community is pretty small so im just sitting here laughing because the shops that you showed are actually owned by my family or friends ( the citron distillery for example is owned by my best friends family and the shop with the orange pie is actually like 10 metres from my house in halki 🤣)

I absolutely loved this video and the way you presented it. It was interesting to watch as you captured the greek culture so beautifully. I’ve always wanted to go Greece and after watching this video I’m much more keen! ☺️💯
I hadn't previously considered travelling to Greece too seriously, but with every video you guys are moving it up the priority list.

I don't see why not. Greece is one of the most beautiful places on earth. No doubt about it
So I watched this video a week ago in preparation for my trip to Naxos (I’m here now, Hello from Naxos!!) and I can’t believe I just met the gorgeous helpful local in this video! A complete coincidence. Also a lot of locals here ask me about oakleigh when I tell them I’m from Melbourne. Absolutely hysterical that people from this little island have heard of the suburb I lived in a decade ago! Great videos Kristina! X
Naxos is one of the most beautiful islands! Thanks for the beautiful tips🥰
Just came back to Belgium from Naxos from a 12 nights' stay. I miss Naxos so much already - the food, hospitality, beach, and everything : (

Rui Yu oh I bet! Was it much different to our experience? I would love to know what the differences are during covid! Is it quieter? Or are people wearing masks?

I'm right now in Naxos. It doesn't seem much more quiet than on your videos, for example promenade in Naxos Town is quite busy in the evening, but probably half or more people around are locals (I can't compare to what was before). In general it's relatively quiet but not dead (it's October anyhow but it seems that at least you'd year season got bit extended due to super late start) People wear masks in shops (most of them at least, not everyone) and in transport, and restaurants put paper covering on tables but except for this you don't really see much impact. They had only single cases here fortunately so it wasn't affected a lot
Yiasou (means hello in Greek) everyone! Just wanted to say thank you for your comments, love and support. Also, for everyone asking - we sailed with Captain Panos. His email is panosail@gmail.com and his Facebook account is facebook.com/panosail/ Ps. What did you think of this video? And are you visiting Naxos soon? Happy travels! ❤️❤️
I’ve come down with a serious case of the travel bug after watching this... was in Greece exactly one year ago and let’s just say I completely understand why Donna Sheridan never left! Loved this video and especially the reminder of what adventures can happen in the future. On my list when I do a grand tour of the Greek islands... hopefully can flush toilet paper on the island next time I visit!
Loved this video and the way you appreciate the people you meet. We've just re-booked our cancelled 2020 trip for May 2022 and are really looking forward to our time on Naxos.

Hi Kristina, awesome video! One question, It looks like the "Mt Zas Trek Starting Point" on the Free Google Map is not in the right place. Do you remember where you had to go to start the ~2 hour hike to the peak (missing the cave) instead of the full ~4 hour hike? Thanks!

Loved both your Paros and Naxos trips - looks so fun! Did you prefer one island over the other- we are trying to pick one for this summer! Naxos looks like it has a bit more nature and things to do but Paros looks more quaint. Thoughts? Thanks

Awesome video! I've just noticed that Google maps link isn't working guys.
4:20 I struck my head on the rock. One thing a person must know that cavern diving doesn't welcome mistakes no tricks needed. The guy is smart enough to know better that ,that girl shouldn't be taken to a cave so he must've skipped the Zeus Cave. It just doesn't matter if one is fool or not they can go on holiday as long as they afford it somehow.
What was the name of the boat tour you went on?? We are going to be there in a few months and it looks awesome!
Can you give just a few more info about the trip to Seagulls Island pls? Just like where to book it. Thx
^I love your vid. What was your fav Naxos or Paros?
In the middle of planning a September trip, was this at the end or the beginning of September? I don't want to go when it's super busy but I also don't want get there and everything be closed already.
Any idea of a budget for a 1 week stay in Naxos? I mean without doing crazy stuff of staying in expensive hotels

Are the taxis easily accessible? What is the best way for transportation around the island? If we rent a car, are there automatic vehicles? I haven’t driven stick in 40 years. lol. Omg 😱 I just watched the part where you said you are driving a manual up a road with no guard rails. Can I get to one little town to the other without going on those kinds of roads?
Круто, люблю Грецию))), спасибо друзья, привет из Киева.
I like naturist beaches. Does Naxos have good ones? Thank you.

According to Greek metrology Zeus was born in Crete and was raised on Mt. Zas thus giving the name. Also know as Mt. Zeus 🙃
