As a Navy veteran, the. Navy hymn will be played at my funeral as my casket is takeb from the church & is placed into the hearse. Evening colors will be plYed instead of taps.

@@KathyEasler As an Australian, this hymn is most apt as we remember those young Americans who lost their lives in the Battle of the Coral Sea which included the loss of the USS Lexington.......which we commemorate every year in North Queensland where I live. Les Griffiths

@@lesgriffiths8523 Thankfully Australia was not isolated during that battle. America lost so much, and the help from Australia and the commemorative held each year is important to all.

In Galveston, Texas this hymn is sung every September 8 by a choir. September 8 in the anniversary of the Great Storm of 1900
