nice, but it's in beta, and far from finished to fully enjoy it... try Sip Simulator Extremes, it's a finished product and quite well done, with the only drawback in my opinion that there is no world map, just local regional maps... I come from Flight Sim series (FSX specifically), and I usually expect a full global map and real-time in a simulation... otherwise, it's arcade to me as a seasoned self-declared simmer...

Does it work with latest windows iterations, without ‘work-arounds’, running in ‘compatibility mode’, or any other such efforts I.e. straight out of the box?

@@Lucpol1986 I just reinstalled it on a Windows 10 machine and it works fine with no workaround... not sure about Win 11... graphics are a bit outdated since it's an older release, but it's fun... I'm just sad it's not using the global map, just regional maps by comparison with a flight simulator that's my background as a simmer...

Very interesting. Not a massive ship sim fan so I'd not heard of this. Looking on their website it describes it as a "maritime simulator", which seems to sum up what we saw here (at least the early stages of). I'm wondering about the name of it, and the phrase "opportunity to navigate" on the web page though. Can't see much on the roadmap, would be cool if it included some navigation though.

It is already showing great promise...Development dependant on investment...So will try and generate as much traction for people to follow and gain interest as I can

Just think about ships at sea having this sea state system and boat handling.

No, it is not on STEAM.

can't start the free version despite having an account. This can't happen anymore. The game can be entered into crush depth's unpublished list.

Had the same issue. Downloaded the ‘free version’, but can’t get past the in-game menu once launched. A pity 👍🏾
