About the presenters:
Diana Bella
Founder of Doors of Light, providing spiritual counseling and transformational programs for soul level healing. Contributed to authorship of 15 booklets on healing. Currently creating a workbook on soul embodiment.
Joshua Roberts, MA
Raised in South Africa, Joshua’s extensive travels include ventures deep into the consciousness terrain of bipolar. His mission is to share the richness of his re-discovered homeland.
Being involuntary psychiatrically hospitalized 6 times, he fell deep into the paradoxical territory known as "psychosis." He now uses this lived experience in combination with his education (BA in Psychology from the University of South Africa; MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary) and professional mental health experience with NAMI San Diego to chart new maps of the frontiers of consciousness, fusing the words of psyche and spirit. Neurodiversity Gifts: Multi-dimensional Potential!
He lives in San Diego with his wife and two young daughters, living a version of the American Lucid Dream.

I am an experiencer also. I feel that the temporary, self-limited state of "psychosis" acts like a “rooter rooter" clean out effect for energies that are not a match to our true nature. It is quite efficient yet the traditional helper services have a system of halting the process which can leave it incomplete. It is a fair task to integrate when there is a common collective lack of understanding. More and more of us manage to integrate these experiences and experience more of our true nature as a result. I look forward to more non-hierarchal collaborative sharing with people in the traditional system to create smoother paths through these epically misunderstood experiences of psychosis for all who find themselves on this path.

Really appreciate this Angele, and I totally agree! It’s like in South Africa we have 220 Volt electricity. When I bought and alarm clock back there with me from the US (America has 110 Volt electricity) the time went super fast. It could seem that it’s out of sync with reality, but actually it’s powered by a *different* reality. And what it shows is that not only are electricity relative, but time is too!

I have schizophrenia, I normally like this channels videos but about half an hour into this one, I don't like it, very vague terms and 'gish galloping' . I hear voices and it's more like weaponized spirituality with high stakes and tests that I keep failing with everything going wrong. Half of it is the legacy of previous failings and scary dreams. I used to be more spiritual but am a fair bit more sceptical now

Hey Humpty DMT it’s Joshua! I love that we can have collaborative synergy through the web like this. Thanks for your feedback. I’m happy to help refine the definition of any terms that seem vague, and also to have your input on how we could next-level the impact of our presentation and message. Feel free to let me know! Much respect my fellow sojourner!

@@Neurodiversity-Gifts hi, ok I'll try. Gish galloping is I think an atheist term that means rapidly making unsubstantiated/explained claims to make an argument. I just thought there was a lot of terms like that in the video.

@@humptydmt3439 Thanks Humpty DMT. Do you mean we use terms like "gish galloping," or that we make rapid unsubstantiated/explained claims? Are there any claims in particular that spring to mind? With a 45 min time restriction we had the choice to either go into one topic deeply, or else provide a broader bird's eye view of the terrain. At the 3:33 minute mark I share that we opted to go with the latter, and had an eagle fly over the screen to depict this.

@@Neurodiversity-Gifts I was saying gish galloping is what you were doing i.e. making rapid claims without explaining them. I'm don't mind too much as gish galloping is more often used to describe a practice in debates, which this wasn't. I was probably just not in a great mood when I typed the msg earlier. If it works for you that's good, I'm not opposed to it

@@humptydmt3439 Appreciate your authenticity Humpty DMT, and I'm always looking to get better at conveying this message, so am grateful for any other feedback. If you're interested in these topics and dig more depth and substantiation, we do run Neurodiversity Gifts groups 5 times a week, which is a 12 hour curriculum with academic footnote references etc. Hope to catch you at the ISPS meetups at some point!
