I've always liked Andys no nonsense, accurate & professionalism whether he's the host or guest.Always great stories with at times touches of humour and sincerity. You can easily sense that he'd be a great, dependable teammate &/or instructor.I don't think alot of the public realizes just how much learning and putting to practice is required to be a SEAL.Although I wasn't a SEAL, I was a missile tech on ssbn's in the 90's and I equate the learning requirements we went to in order to earn our dolphins on a similar level as a SEAL,but with SEAL training requiring much more time before earning their trident and going to work.Another great podcast with Andy.BTW Mike also done a great job too conducting this episode.

Damn, all stoked for my Monday morning Cleared Hot just to realize I listened to this last night on Mike's channel!!! Oh well, I'll just listen again... I find it funny that Andy went to school on Dam Neck and had no clue Development Group was right down the street. I guess growing up in Virginia Beach I just take that for granted. He would've taken a right turn on the base off of Dam Neck rd. for school, and then a left turn off Dam Neck Rd. when he later returned... Feel Better... I hope his hospital stay wasn't for his pinky. Haha

I'm sure every genre of podcasts does it, you have your little cliques and so naturally your going to hang out mostly with those dudes, NYC comedians all just go do each other's shit, LA and now Austin comedians, SOF dudes, NFL and NBA dudes. Went to a civil war museum for medical treatment. They talked out how they would amputate legs and arms and put them on wagons to ride out of the area for days. Zero shocks on dirt or cobblestone roads for days with no pain meds. They say soldiers would beg to be left behind or shot. Time stamp 39:23

i agree with Andy's comment we are divided. I lean left and i could blame...you know who....but i wanted to make a larger point about this country. I'm an old guy and in the 60s there was far more division. i lived in NJ and there were race riots in my town and i mean parts were burnt down, only in the mid 60s were jim crow laws/segregation struck down, politicians and leaders were assassinated, riots and demonstrations over the Vietnam war; including Kent State where college students were killed. Many other examples. To me that's not ancient history....i lived through it. I agree social media can be a curse...it amps up all the negatives...but i'm not sure it's a lot worst today than in recent history. if we can get through what i and the county lived through in the 60s, this is a piece of cake.

I feel like that cousin comment Andy made is exactly what people are talking about in the tactical space about Mike. He doesn't cross the line of flat out nonsense but always flirts with it. " I was supposed to be on the benghazi call" " I was attached to ----" "part of" which is kind of ironic given that Andy has always leaned into roasting Brandon Webb. I'll admit Webb is way off the reservation but Mike really does leave his service in ambiguity on purpose and has always had respected peers to fend off the naysayers.
