MechWarrior Online is a free-to-play vehicular combat video game, officially launched during September 2013 by Piranha Games for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place within the larger #BattleTech universe. In MechWarrior: Online, players takes the role of a ""MechWarrior"" who pilots large bipedal combat vehicles known as BattleMechs (Mech for short). Players can customize their BattleMech with an array of weapons and equipment, and engage in 12 versus 12 battles, the outcome of which earns the players experience and c-bills for future BattleMech purchases and customization. There are currently seven game modes that involve protecting and attacking a single base (Assault), capturing and holding several points (Conquest), take and hold the center of the map (Domination), attacking a space defense system (Siege/Counter-Attack), protecting and attacking field bases with turrets and walls spread across the map (Incursion), and team death-match (Skirmish).

That second match had someone calling aimbot because their King Crab got headshot while moving. I've done that once and it was sheer luck. Loved the song! It was great to see the Faf with quad AC20's! That is the PAIN TRAIN!

That quote...is indeed from Stackpole, first novel of the Warrior Trilogy. It's related to the Kell Hounds "Aidan Sortek saved our ass day". Back in the days of Morgan Kell's retreat to Zania the heaviest mech was Patrick Kell's Thunderbolt. OpFor had an Awesome, it took Sortek and his Victor to bring it down as the last of the enemies.

My sort of build... you don't need combat endurance when you only need to last long enough to kill everyone... and a 1k-1.5k damage in the bank with misses is very acceptable.

I never bother shooting for CT on a fafnir. Its side torsos are the size of a barn have lower armor and contain all its weapons. Same for arms, why bother shooting those when I can dump all my damage into the side torso and make it fall off?

Simply beautiful. My only modification to this build is to drop down to a LE225 with a single heat sink in your head. I still get 6 tons of ammo with ammo quirks (72 shots total), go 39.2kph with speed skills (so only about 1kph slower) and get to keep a TON more armor.
1000 episodes is the perfect place to stop... ...lol, um, stop doing...something. Pick a bad habit. Don't stop MWO. (I "play" vicariously through these vids.) XD
