In 2016, Daisen-Oki National Park was selected as one of eight model parks to play a role in the National Park Mankitsu Project, a project that is focused on the branding of national parks.
The undertaking of this project named Shimane National Park Enjoyment Project、has stimulated our endeavor towards creating a region where tourists, including foreign visitors, can enjoy nature and be encouraged to repeatedly visit the area.
The Shimane Prefecture are improving the usage environment and disseminating information on the attractiveness of nature so that visitors can stay safely, securely and comfortably.
