Natural Scalp Scrub For Alopecia Areata

Trying to naturally grow your hair back with alopecia areata can be challenging. I wanted to do a video about scalp scrubs and why I believe they are important for a healthy scalp. One of the steps to growing your hair back from alopecia areata was to maintain a hair regimen. Even though I wash my hair and co-wash every week, I like to exfoliate my scalp about once a month to help removed any excess buildup and remove dead skin cells. You can make this easy scalp scrub with three simple ingredients!
1. Sea Salt - This is a great exfoliant. I like using very fine grains, which helps me ensure a gentle scrub. Sea Salt is also know for its detoxing properties.
2. Cleansing oil - I like using grapeseed oil in my scalp scrubs because it's a light oil and its great at sticking to dirt to remove it. You can pick whichever cleansing oil you prefer.
3. Extra - I LOVE rosemary essential oil when it comes to my scalp and hair. Rosemary is known to fight free radicals and increase circulation, which is beneficial for promoting hair growth. Feel free to choose a different essential oil, such as tea tree or lavender. Green tea is also another great option.
All of these ingredients are great with helping to fix bald spots and growing your natural hair back. Even though my hair has grown back from alopecia areata, I still use scalp scrubs to ensure a healthy scalp and just keep my hair growing. Once again I am not a doctor, nor will I pretend to be one. All of my videos are solely based on my experiences.

I started using onion oil in my hair too and it helps. You are right about the color. I just chopped half of my hair off because the color destroyed it. 😫😫
