For anyone interested, pumpkins are pretty easy to grow. The vines take space but are easy to grow up a fence, or trellis. I take some worn out aluminum ladders and use bamboo and ties to support them. They need full sun, and can be put in the ground anytime after nights are steadily above 50. My 3x8’ bed supported three vines, I got plenty for decoration, three different varieties. Really pretty Autumn ideas!

Lived in Wlmot, Brewster and Beach City most of my life and our favorite Sunday afternoon in the fall was to drive through "Amish Country " as slowly as possible enjoying the rich colors, fall flower gardens and the lovely decorated porches. For six years now we are in South Carolina. All it does here is just dry and turn brown. I try to put as much color in the house as I can. Thank you.💟 for your ideas. Love your videos.

I used to make bittersweet wreaths every year for exterior decorating. I worked for a professional gardener for a few seasons, and she told me to be careful about using the bittersweet. Now I know why! A couple of years after that there were bittersweet sprigs growing in my yard, and within 2-3 years my property was inundated with it! I've been eradicating it for about five years now and, while it feels like a losing battle, I just continue on and on. That stuff is soooooooooo invasive!
