We're driving to the north coast of the Dominican Republic and spending the next few days exploring the bohemian, laid-back town of Cabarete.
I've divided this video into two parts. Part 1, which you're about to see, will explore where to stay in Cabarete. For things to do in the area, take a look at adventures in Cabarete.
We'll be spending the next few days at Natura Cabana Boutique Hotel & Spa, located just outside of Cabarete in the neighboring town of Sosua. About WHERE TO NAU
===============================
Where to Nau began as a blog where I could document my travels and adventures with the world. Having a love for photography, traveling, writing, and scrapbooking, blogging became my new millennial way of expression. I'm always on the hunt to find unique and secluded places around the world. Join me!

On my website, you'll find complete itineraries, recommendations of the best places to eat (from street food to upscale dining), and exclusive hotel reviews of locations I think are worth checking out. I also have a lifestyle/ wellness section for self-care and self-improvement.

A background in modeling and acting has led to working with brands as a lifestyle model and content creator for social media, print, and publication. If you're a brand reading this, Let's work together!
Leave a comment with any future video ideas you'd like to see about NYC, and if you've visited before, let me know what you like and dislike about the city that never sleeps. I'm personally obsessed with my city, NYC!
About NAUREEN CHHIPA
===============================
I was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in Miami with roots that go all the way across the globe to Pakistan (that's where my wanderlust nature comes from.) I travel the world part-time while juggling my passion for acting in NYC, my home. I also work as a lifestyle/print model, freelance travel writer, and social media content creator/brand ambassador. When I'm not acting or traveling, you can find me blogging and sharing secrets of my travel adventures, so stay tuned! You can also follow my live stories on IG @wheretonau

I believe in balance, so I travel frugal yet splurge for a day or two. I believe in embracing different cultures and learning from them; that's how I personally grow as an actor. I believe in finding your tribe, so I'm constantly adapting to change, growing, and evolving. Being multiracial, bilingual, traveling the world, and living in the melting pot that NYC is, my goal is to inspire women minorities everywhere to never settle and always follow their dreams.

    Wow, great video. I’ve been scouring KZread to get ideas for my next trip to the DR for 16 days so I always like to go to a lot of places. I subscribed to your blog. Great job. I will go to at least 3-4 places you blogged about. It is also my goal to see the entire island since I’ve been going there every year since 2013. Subscribed. Peace!

    Hi. I too enjoyed Natura Cabana with a dear friend 3 times. Can you tell me if the very close beachfront has returned? It has previously eroded somewhat. It is certainly a fabulous place

    Hi Angela! Do you remember the name of the beach house? We stayed at Cabaña Piedra which is like a 2 min walk to the beach.

    Loved the video, do you have to be a yogi to stay here in nature my kind of vibe, is it very expensive in pesos for 3 nights?

    Hi Sandy! Thanks so much! You don't have to be a yogi to stay here; yoga is optional :) I do recommend taking a class though, the classes are wonderful 🙏🏽 As of right now, I did a quick google search for updated prices and found some bungalows online for $157 a night (8,533 Dominican Pesos). Prices will vary depending on the date of your stay. I hope this helps!

    Not sure if you mentioned it in the review. Not all rooms in Natura Cabana have air conditioning. So please check when booking to make sure (if AC is important to you).

    Yes, Cabaña Piedra (our bungalow at Natura Cabana) offers AC and ceiling fans. However that’s an exception as most Eco Accommodations in DR don’t have AC.
