NATO Can't Be A Party To Ukraine War: Erdogan, Slovak PM Warns Of WW3, Biden Claims European Support
In a grim reminder of Russia’s threats, Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico warned that Ukraine joining NATO would spark a global conflict. “I understand Ukraine’s wishes, it is a sovereign country, but Ukraine’s membership in NATO is just a guarantee of World War III,” Fico said.
Turkish President Erdogan warned against a possible conflict between NATO and Russia, urging that diplomacy must also be an option. "I shared my views candidly here that NATO should never be allowed to be a party to the war in Ukraine," Erdogan said after NATO’s Washington summit. NATO’s Washington summit was clouded by uncertainty in the US as Biden fights for his political survival. Biden compared his commitment to the trans-Atlantic alliance to comments from his challenger, former president Donald Trump.

Russia acting this way is why nato exist It's a defensive alliance for democracies In north America and Europe.
Russia only started to get aggressive in Ukraine when Ukraine and NATO signed a partnership in 2008 for a future membership. Russia planned to invade Ukraine when Ukraine constitutionalized an irreversible path to NATO membership in 2019. Russia only invaded Ukraine because despite sincere negotiations from Russia, Ukraine still doesn't want to revoke NATO membership application. Edit: to those who are saying that Ukraine has every right to join NATO, Russia has the right to protect its national security interest just like when USA attempted to invade Cuba but USA and the USSR sort it out. Same thing should happen between Ukraine and Russia, sorting out their problems without 3rd party interference.

The US MIC is about money. I. $880 billion dollars per year Department of War budget approved. 2. DC has troops on 800 military installations on foreign soil. DC uses those 800 installations to force foreign governments to do what they are told to do. 3. In a situation like this ukraine could never join nato intill the war is over , a reason south korea could never join nato either . I disagree with PM Fico. Ukraine has been attacked without provocation by Russia. Now it is Ukraine that needs a security guarantee that Russia will not attack it again. That security guarantee is NATO. This seem to me to be simple common sense. It is Russia that needs to accept that Ukraine will be protected from it. Nobody going to attack Russia if Russia behaves itself.
There should be a debate between Putin and Stolenberg or between Putin and Biden.
