    Thanks this is great ! Salal according to scientists is the healthiest berry in ALL of North America! A super food ( even has omega )

    Noticed you said ... "salal *was* an important resource for the Native people(s) of the west coast" ... just wanted to point out the importance of language here. As you know Indigenous Peoples are still here, and have always been since time immemorial. Indigenous Peoples STILL use plant medicines. These practices do not only exist in the past and it is extremely important not to word it as such.
