As a little boy my grandpa would sing the songs of his grandpa driving across the country. When we fished we prayed. When we hunted we prayed. When I went to war I sang the war songs of my grandfather's. When I die my descendants will sing the war songs I sang and taught my buddies in Afghanistan and Iraq. The great spirit protected us in combat.

@@cosmicman621 peyote is medicine, you take it and it heals you. Sometimes you take it and talk to the creator, or he gives you a song. Those songs are called peyote songs. Many of them are very old and have power. Some some songs are only sung at certain times or for specific reasons.

Nice. My great uncle and my grandfather use to tell us that we are part Sioux and Cheyenne. They welcomed them into their tribe. And they returned to homes after the treaty was signed. The story they told us was our ancestors escaped to Oklahoma and hid from the Army when they captured the Navajo and Mescalero Apaches and imprison them at Ft. Sumner back in 1860. 🤔 so when we say our clan we include the Cheyenne and Sioux tribes. 😇

Im am blessed to experience a Native American church called the light works ranch in Humbolt county California. I brought a arrowhead I found on the east coast in Williamstown. When I exited the church I looke in a river for one. I found one and walked up to the chief and gave him mine and told him I found on your property here's on from my Hometown. He sai the arrowhead was for birds. It was a good trade.

1991 in BC Canada I was invited to my 2nd Sweat Lodge ever. I was at a retreat on Salt Spring Island. I had no earthly idea these men were Medicine Carriers but everyone else knew..I was invited late ..from a different part of retreat. They sprinkled Peyote on hot rocks each round..10 rocks per round! 40 rock Sweat..I thought I'd fried my brain cells..when I started hallucinating the most amazing, fabulous images & people! What I saw! After talking circle I found out I was reacting to Peyote! The next morning these 2 asked if I'd do a sand/bowl/Peyote ceremony with just them..then asked me to travel with them. 8 days on peyote. Patrick Henderson & Marvin Williams.I wish I could show you all the artwork that came from that experience! What beauty exists forever!

i had the same bro. I m from Greece. I had some visions and feelings. Felt like i ve spoken to The Creator and it is a concept which i cannott describe with words. We re in another state of mind from Natives. They re more pure than we are. We ve become twisted coz our ancestors did all those things to them. And the worst is that we polluted them with our civilisation. Never left them alone. While listening to these songs i had some voice in my mind telling me about the famine and despair in the world caused by "the spilled blood of the innocent". It affects everybody. Our grandfathers killed their people and then their children born insane and always feeling desperate. I feel like a true believer of whatever it is that Created all this beautiness and i can feel it all the time hearing these songs. But i know i cannot ask for rest in this life. We have to do something greater than asking help from them.

@@heliosgnosis2744 i feel what you re saying but sound is a factor that effects strongly when you re under the medicine. They have created a sound vehicle my friend that gets them in destination every time. When you hear the drum it sounds like a gigantic engine coil and the rattle creates the "field". Time does not exist there. This is universal and they know. Some vision showed me that every day that ends, an elder blesses the next day and prays for all humanity coz that is what they live there in the western part of the earth.

I am a martial artist and respect anyone who has seen the Chi. When I felt my root with Earth and my Chakras, I was never the same. I have only used mushrooms and a little LSD. I've been practicing Silat and Escrima since 1993 and Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi since 2008. I like practicing slow twisting and circling steps with blades. It nourishes my brain and I circulate my chi to stay healthy and massage my internal organs to stay soft and limber. The first thing I would teach someone is how to relax and root and circulate Qi. After relaxing, someone can learn basic Gong Fu!

The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples is an imperative document. The United Nations Declarations on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples has 46 different articles under it. I definitely want to get a copy of it and study it up. It is important to know our rights as a Indigenous people. I know that in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights you have article 25 section 1 which is our right to claim a nationality and you also have the Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 15 section 2 which is, "Nobody shall arbitrary deprived their nationality or be denied the right to change their nationality. It is very important to know the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples is definitely very important for us to know. We also have the Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 18 which is our religious freedom and to practice different religions and beliefs as well as worship.

I know that the Native American Church is very Christian based. You have Jesus Christ, the Great Spirit and the Creator. We must not use the lord's name in vain, honor the sabbath and honor thy father and thy mother. Exodus chapter 21 verse 15, "Whoever strikes their father or mother shall surely be put to death." Exodus chapter chapter 21 verse 17, "Whoever curses their father or mother shall surely be put to death." Leviticus chapter 20 verse 9, "Whoever curses their father or mother shall surely be put to death. Whoever curses their father or mother the blood guilt shall be upon them."

Native Americans Navajo don't believe in sacrificing and killing animals to offer up sweet fragrance.... They believe in showing kindness to holy people. Only in oneness. Treat your children better with love and support if they cry out. Maybe they're angry because they're confused and they don't talk to their parents and their parents choose not to talk to them. You know the real parents.
