I've never understood WHY anthems are sung before events. I can remember when even at the movies we all had to stand and sing the national anthem before the show would begin. No one has ever explained to me the reason... maybe because no one knows... it's just a custom. In any case, the US national anthem is a BRUTE of a song to sing unaccompanied - very few can sing it well. It's beyond me why it was chosen when the average person can't even sing it.
@normaheartsill47682 жыл бұрын

Cmon do the Irish anthem Damian 😂
I've never understood WHY anthems are sung before events. I can remember when even at the movies we all had to stand and sing the national anthem before the show would begin. No one has ever explained to me the reason... maybe because no one knows... it's just a custom. In any case, the US national anthem is a BRUTE of a song to sing unaccompanied - very few can sing it well. It's beyond me why it was chosen when the average person can't even sing it.
It's a damn shame for a person from another country to sing the anthem in such a beautiful way. Then we have these clowns who are Americans screw it up so badly. I just do not understand.
did anyone realize that he messed up on, "And the land of the free and the home of the brave. " but he said, "And the land of the brave and the home of the free. "??

Where do you hear that at? He said "O'er the land of the free" and it sounded like "fray" because it's hard for some people to say "free" on such a loud, high note so they shape their mouth for "fray" to hit the note and hold it

It is his Irish accent. He sang it beautifully. Certainly a lot better than some American singers.

It sounded like he said "Land of the Great" instead of "Land of the Free".

and hes not even american
