This election showed a positive thing: That money cant buy everything. He did such a horrible job for the country that enough people were able to unite to stop him and his other idiots. That was Ann Coulter. Everyone laughed at her because she was (and still is) an extremely racist and controversial conservative figure. So anything she believes or says is ridiculed. But to be fair, absolutely nobody, at this point, believed Trump would win because he was such an outside pick with no government experience at all, he was known as the celebrity tv millionaire guy. It’s the same magnitude as Kanye West running for President. Now, Trump gained followers, mostly rallied conservatives and the older generations of Americans, and that won him the election. That, and Hillary Clinton was an awful choice from the democrats.

Very true, in 2016 when Trump was elected I was 11 years old and my family is Mexican. I bought into all the bullshit they were spewing and I was scared and I thought it was gonna be the end. 2016-2019 until 2020 were arguably the best years of teen life. Now that Biden has taken charge, that is when I should've truly feared the end. I am 19 years old now, I know better and I am trying to inform myself the best I can. I am voting this year for the first time, and I am very proud to say that I will be voting for 2x President Trump.

I’m not a fan of the Trump Presidency or his candidacy but I remember the day after he won at my High-school the teachers and staff refused to teach the mood set was like somebody died. My family is Hispanic, they didn’t really want trump to win either, but once he did they just thought “well, let’s hope he does a good job” and moved on. I swear some of these people that acted like it was the end of the world are just stupid, they acting like this is the first president ever that was a rich guy or a relatively bad guy.

This is one of the best underdog stories of all time

I stayed up until the middle of the night waiting for the result and it was and will always be one of the happiest moments of my life. Some polls were giving Hillary a 99% chance of winning and Trump won against all odds and nothing was more satisfying than watching the smug media's faces and reactions.

The position went to someone else on the next occasion when it was up for grabs, but nothing that he had gained was revoked from him at any point.

What exactly made it the best 4 years? Tax cuts and jobs act - helped mostly big businesses (like his). Sure the Tax cuts and jobs act did give 6 million americans higher wages... but uh... that's only 1.8% of the total population... so the impact was very minimal. Reduced the taxes of a family of four making 75k or more.... which is uh... 12% of the population. Again, only helping th richest out there stay richer. Reduced the tax rate (only the super rich felt any meaningful impact). Small businesses can now deduct 20% of their income... which is nice and one of the FEW good things he did. They CLAIM they reduced the inequality between the top earners and bottom earners, but that's a fabrication. They changed the parameters with the deductions. The numbers stay the same but the way it's calculated got all screwy. Brought back 1.2 trillion dollars from foreign powers.... which was sent right to government spending to send our boys to the middle east and other parts of the world. This didn't help us, just allowed us to buy more guns. Created 9000 opportunity zones.... which are anything but. Opportunity zones only work for businesses which can garuntee long term success, as they only really help once you hit long term. They do very little to help people start out... so once again this only helps big businesses. The estimations are a whopping 1 million americans will be helped by this.... 1 million is less than 6 million and 6 million was under 2% of the population... so once again... this helps almost no one at all. A million SOUNDS big, but in the context of the US population one million is a suburb worth of people. The list goes on but his presidency can be summed up in one phrase. He was helping himself and his business owner buddies, not the nation.

Had neighbors like that. They complained and complained but never about the lowered gas or prices or the era of peace or the job market. Now though, they're quite content, it seems, with the heightened prices, rise of crime and murder, and high unemployment rates. They even had to sell their car since they couldn't afford it but this must've been what they wanted. Not one complaint. Simply bliss
