It’s hard for the majority to have representation when the House is held to the population stats from the early 20th Century. The House needs to expand to current representation proportions, then gerrymandering won’t matter nearly as much.

I read the nation my whole life, since childhood, until about six years ago, when it just seemed less necessary, and increasingly narrow, a problem which thankfully seems to be getting better lately imo. I have a question which has no other forum, as it has been rejected by the editors elsewhere. Why is the Nation in New York City? Every time you ask for money, this is why you get none from me. Do you all just have a need to make your lives and work as expensive as possible, and hence the magazine's costs? Why not Ypsilanti MI, an actual hotbed of progressive values, or some relatively liberal midwestern town? We all know why, if we are honest. It is classism and snobbery. The things the Nation gets wrong consistently are a result of its provincial editorial outlook. And I would not care except it is a microcosm of the failure of the white intellectual left broadly in the United States. You have contributors from elsewhere... in fact they are always the best part. What is your need? How am I wrong here at all?

Saying find votes, is not wrong. Many errors in counting for various reasons. As such GA case is overstated.

"Find votes" is not the sentence he said. He asked for the exact number and it was 1 vote more than he needed to win. The _ACTUAL_ quote is, "What I want to do is this. I just want to find, uh, 11,780 votes, which is one more than [the 11,779 vote margin of defeat] we have, because we won the state."

Aren't you projecting? Because Ivanka and Jared did way more grafting than anything Joe Biden's son did. Let me remind you, Ivanka got numerous deals from China while she was employed in the government and Jared got 2 billion dollars from the Saudis. This happened after he gave the Saudis sensitive information on their enemies. So grafting thy name is Republican.
