God bless the woman in the upper level in the black dress. She was having the time of her life and nothing was going to stop her.
You can tell the raw conviction and passion when the "my heart is aching....hands are shaking" comes on. As an alcoholic, I know this man put his blues, heart and soul into this

I worked in live TV for 35 years and this is some of the best captured single camera live music I’ve ever seen..

This song spoke to me in 2016 when I thought I couldn't ever get free of meth. Two years later I finally found the strength. It takes me back to an ugly place in my life. But it also reminds me how far I've come, and how few make it. Makes me cry.

Gives me faith in the American Music Scene, not that it isn't alive and well, but all those young folks digging it.
For those of you struggling with alcoholism or other substance addiction, KEEP TRYING, you’ll eventually get clean. Even if you don’t know it, you’ve got people who are hoping for your success. ❤
the footwork, the trumpet solo, the keyboard solo, the SON OF A BITCH!!

He certainly does! I could watch him and listen to him all day. I absolutely love the horns in this group. I miss the days of brass in music groups. So glad Nathaniel uses them. Pure magic!
The Band is such an incredible group and they really managed to do their song justice. Really great stuff.
The way music should be enjoyed. In an old dusty music/blues hall. No seats, just drinking dancing and singing.
Damn..that crowd is hypnotized.i would have broke my neck if i was there!
I've never seen that side of Nathaniel Rateliff. I love it.
God bless you my son , for the song , for the lyrics , for music and dance moves! SOME ONE GIVE HIM A DRINK!

+Andrew Konsek The Shape I'm In was written by Robbie Robertson of The Band. They were around in the 60's and 70's. Check out the movie, "The Last Waltz".
Never heard of him (them), but god DAMN that is some good shit!

Chris Evans played these guys on Radio 1 this morning. A sure-fire cure for the fug of morning inertia. Utterly blown away.
This was my third time seeing him, and I'm just obsessed.
Duke Ellington said: "There's two kinds of music - good or bad" - this must be that rare third kind: AWESOME!
Clap on the beat you bastards!!! Love it!
Just pure energy and Magic!!!!
This guy is channeling Jake Blues.
SOB is my new favorite song. I'm totally obsessed.
Addicted to S.O.B. after Fallon last night. Now I see he covers the Band? Awesome! Can he tour with the Chris Robinson Brotherhood as their opener? That would be great. Thank you for bringing REAL music back to the masses....

Incredible live performer. Saw him and his band recently in Edmonton. Perfect blend of soul, blues and rock n' roll. You did "The Band" proud, Nathaniel. This kind of talent is so rare today.
Wow talk about heart and soul I was feeling down and out and this band really knows how fix that , thank you " NR & The N S"

I'm in that crowd and visible for a pretty good chunk of time. Hard to believe it's nearly 5 years ago now. But I keep coming back to this video because it's probably my favorite performance of "SOB." I'm so glad it exists.
This cat will never have to buy a drink again in his life.
That would have been an fucking awesome show...I bet those who were there will remember that show for years to come.
Out of all the stages I have played on in my musical career, The Gothic has been by far one of the coolest.
Dude has so much fun on stage! I wanna see them live ASAP
Any band that covers The Band and great song sung by the amazing Richard Manuel needs to be heard cause they have impeccable taste
I love this song…and man can he dance!!!!!!!!! And hey…give’ em a drink!!!!!LOL🍻🍻🍻🥃🍹🍸Yeehaw!!!!SOB.💙My new fav song!

Nathaniel Rateliff is a modern day John Belushi. I just found these guys yesterday. I have not heard a bad song yet!
I must see them live!
YAAAAAA, unreal, covering The Band, how does it get any better?
jake..elwood.....man I must be in library in 1984 nothing can kill the blues
I just heard of these guys for the first time last summer when I saw them on the Outlaw Music Festival with Willie Nelson...ONe of the best live bands I've ever seen It was like a Pentecostal revival of blues music.
All new to me. Can't wait for the album and to see them live. Great anybody who would do The Shape I'm In I gotta see.
I would think that Richard Manuel would be proud of their cover of "The Shape I'm In!"

Heard this on sirius xm alt nation. Turned my tired ride to work into a party for one.
A friend turned me onto this. I watched my first movie at the Gothic! 25 cents. The Beatles, Help. My dad worked a few blocks away so me and my two older brothers had a ride home. Son of a Bitch let me buy you a drink!
Where's Ellwood????
I find it funny that he changes the lyric of "60 days in the jailhouse," to "sixteen years in the jailhouse". Just what I noticed. They certainly rock out to that song! Killa!
Mind. Blown.
Two of my favorite songs wrapped into one.
Amazing.. Simply amazing.
Thank you.
Simply great, a wonderful tune to get you up and a going!9
