    This song spoke to me in 2016 when I thought I couldn't ever get free of meth. Two years later I finally found the strength. It takes me back to an ugly place in my life. But it also reminds me how far I've come, and how few make it. Makes me cry.

    He certainly does! I could watch him and listen to him all day. I absolutely love the horns in this group. I miss the days of brass in music groups. So glad Nathaniel uses them. Pure magic!

    +Andrew Konsek The Shape I'm In was written by Robbie Robertson of The Band. They were around in the 60's and 70's. Check out the movie, "The Last Waltz".

    Incredible live performer. Saw him and his band recently in Edmonton. Perfect blend of soul, blues and rock n' roll. You did "The Band" proud, Nathaniel. This kind of talent is so rare today.

    I'm in that crowd and visible for a pretty good chunk of time. Hard to believe it's nearly 5 years ago now. But I keep coming back to this video because it's probably my favorite performance of "SOB." I'm so glad it exists.

    I just heard of these guys for the first time last summer when I saw them on the Outlaw Music Festival with Willie Nelson...ONe of the best live bands I've ever seen It was like a Pentecostal revival of blues music.
