When I was a senior in high school, I wrote and arranged this record in my head. Probably why my grades were always subpar lol It’s a story, intended to be listened to from front to back. A battle between light and darkness in the life of those I love and my own. I tried recording it easily four times but was never able to capture the original vision I had. So I waited until I felt I had the means to do so. And now, six years later, here it is. I pray it blesses you and if you’re caught up in “The Darkness”, trying to cope with a means that’s destructive, it pull you out. Bring you into a new world of love, freedom, peace and joy. I know this genre is very “Different”, but I hope it’s not too crazy. Promise there will be much more normal music. I love you all. -Nathan Wagner

This, my friends, is what you call a masterpiece. Each movement of this suite has its own power and story, and each of them stand alone as fantastic pieces of music. However, combining them together is an experience nothing short of magical. Each song with its different moods and feels meld from one into another in a story about losing and then finding yourself, or at least I interpreted it as such. I would classify this as a symphony, albeit a shorter one, but this is exceptional beyond belief, bestowing upon listeners strong emotions and vivid images one rarely gets from the symphonic/alternative rock genre. This symphony is the closest to perfection I believe we are capable of reaching amongst this genre of music, and I loom forward to each amd every future listening of this. Thank you for the magical story Nathan Wagner, and I hope you enjoyed making and telling this story as we did listening to it.

When I was younger, I was a die-hard Christian. I went to church every Sunday morning, afternoon, and Wednesday evening because my church at the time held a children's Bible study. I stayed like that until October of 2014 when my mother was taken from me by death. From that moment on, I turned away from God and placed myself into the darkness. Now it is 2020 and I have lost so much more. I lost my father in May, I lost the family who raised me while my parents were in jail because of drugs and shoplifting, and along with them, I lost part of myself. Because of all this, I turned my back completely on God because I blame/blamed him for taking all this from me. But with me saying all this, I'm here listening to your music and humming along because not only do I like the way it sounds, but I love the messages your songs are sending. I love the stories you're telling. I love how it all drags me to a place I haven't seen in a very long time. I don't know if you'll see this, Nathan Wagner. I don't know if you'll notice these words on a screen and see the heartfelt message I typed. But I do know one thing, and that is you are an amazing man with incredible music. Thank you for doing what you do and I hope you have an amazing day or night.

I must have missed this back when it first came out, because I definitely would have remembered listening to it! I saw the release of part 1 and went looking for the full video and I'm not disappointed! I absolutely love the rock/jazz feel of the whole thing and the heavier sound with your incredible voice is exactly what I needed today for music. I think the lyrics clearly convey a message that everyone can relate to. And the music shows the flow between "the light and the darkness", and really does emphasise the turmoil we can all feel inside sometimes. The great thing about music is that everyone can interpret it and relate to it in different ways. And listening to this album I think is great when you're laying awake at half three in the morning with your thoughts! 😁 xxx

Dude. You're a musical genius. I'm not bragging, but I consider myself a music connoisseur and expert. I, like you, compose complex songs in my head but don't really have the means to record them. I'm 17 and just in shock by this song. I just heard Lonely (which is just so good) and figured I had to check out your channel. You really know how to put emotion into songs. And your voice is so good; your range is insane, and your rasp is to die for. If you ever need piano or keyboard parts for songs, just let me know. I record stuff and it would be so damn cool to work with you. Even if you don't want to, just know that I love your music so much, and I was here before you blew up haha.

Check out "The Alchemist" too! Most of the songs are incredibly powerful, and almost every melody memorable before you've even heard the song! 🤟

Darkness in awh nooo..than bad dreams happened. Guitar sounds electric. Good lyrics in white. to go with song in darkness! But I will certainly stay away darkness.
