It's been almost two years since my best friend died in a car accident. She was only 17 and when I saw her, she was so beautiful, I seen the damage the accident done to her, but it was only her face that was scarred, I know it sounds weird for me to say she was so beautiful in death but she was. She was intended to be my prom date last year for high school and then I would've told her my true feelings for her but a week from my birthday of last year (January 7, 2019) I found out from her adoptive brother that she died instantly in the car wreck. This song hits so close to home. Every year the same time I loose something dramatically close to me. Once I get vulnerable from what left last year, something leaves me again. Hearing this song is like reliving the past 4 years this has been going on over and over. I lost my dog of 15 years last year and I lost the horse I was leasing this year. I was forced to do a school assignment on this and hearing this song just allowed me to let go and remebred they are and proud of me ❤

I will say this song makes me realizes the good memories I've had are ok to think about. Even if I'm sad. This reminds me of my tens months with my ex. He fixed me when me and him got together and then we left me before Christmas, which is this Christmas. He actually left the day I'm writing this... I know this song has a different meaning but the end of it reminded of what he told me. He told me to forget him and I didn't want to but he told me to just stay strong and forget him. I was listening to this song when he did break up with me and I just feel attached to this song now, I see two meanings the song could be and it just makes me calm right now cause it makes me think of how if I stay strong I'll get through everything without him. I don't know if anyone will read this but I just wanna share it and continue listening to this amazing song. I was always bullied by people around me. For some reason, no one tried to be friends with me, or talk to me like I'm a normal person. I was always lonely and developed anxiety and depression throughout my life, feeling useless, worthless, nothing but someone who doesn't deserve to live and feeling like I'm disappointing even the people that doesn't know me. I don't know what Am I living for, why do I continue and why was I born in the first place? I feel like my place isn't here, that I'm not worth to even breath but when I think of dying, leaving everything behind, I'm scared. I'm scared of making my family suffer when it's all my fault I feel like this. Truth is, no one wants to die for real, we just want to feel happy, just a little time when we don't have to worry about every little thing, when we don't have to cry and feel guilty, when we would smile and be happy. We just want everything to be over, either the loss of someone or the feeling of being wortless because the people around you don't care at all, we all have scars we just can't forget. I always thought I'm alone, but I see so many people sharing stories and realize I'm not the only one and maybe I'm not someone who can say this but just... don't give up. Even if you feel like there is no tomorrow, like your world is crashing down and you have no place to hide, there are always better times and a good future that is waiting for you, you just have to be strong and face the world, cry if you want, do things that at least used to give you happiness and find someone to listen to you. It's always gonna be something for you, so... Believe in yourself, in the person you are and try to love yourself! ❤ I may not know you, but I love you, I know you're a strong person, a kind and amazing person and can do everything you dream for!

After Different world of AW this song made me cry. Happy to see that in this age too some people got a good taste of music and they put their efforts to make it reach to our ears. We are really blessed with this kind of music. Finally am happy to find strong lyrics in d age of tock music and an amazing connection with the singer😊

This song reminds me of my best friend cause he always told me this...and now he's gone I lost him yesterday 💔💔😭

this song happened to play when I was listening to my regular music on the one month anniversary of my husband passing. I looked after him for the last six months due to covid i would not allow hospice as we have children. He never had the chance to thank me, I knew he was grateful, he definitely made this song play as the one that came up with the waterfall on it has my initials in the bottom left corner. He was always worried he wouldn't see us and I would move on right away, he would never want us to forget him. We never will, my new favorite song, always plays just at the right time these days.

This is perfect. I'm not a singer but if I am one this is the kind of song that I would sing in front of many people. I'm not a dancer but this song makes me close my eyes and imagine a choreography that I'll never get to dance. I guess this is the power of music.
